In this thesis with the title of 《Investigation on the Northeastern Nation's worship for Sky God》 , the author puts forward the relationships between the origin of folk-beliefs and the worship for Sky God, and some specific belief-objects.Folk-beliefs are the witness of the development of human history, and reflect the course of cultural development in the development of human history, including the course of the development of human religion. Folk-beliefs result from the human spirit and beliefs, reflecting the mental activities and worship for nature of primitive human beings.The earliest primitive beliefs originated and developed since the birth of human beings, with the form of reflecting the most natural and primitive world. As far as known from the myth about the establishment of a country and the originator, primitive beliefs of human beings are worships for sky, because in the sense of them, sky is the maker of all the objects and phenomenon all over the world. Worship for Sky God just happens like this, and varies in the form, character, and historical origin from country to country and from nation to nation .As a result, the author systematically analyzed the worship for Sky God taking Korean, Mongolian, and Manchurian as examples. The thesis mainly consists of 4 parts as below.First part is the general introduction of northeastern nations in China. The author believes that the formation of a national folk-belief is sure to have something to do with certain habitat environment, living methods, and social and economic situations of human beings. So introductions about several aspects of these three nations go first in this thesis as the basis of relative investigations below.Second, myth reflects the origin of human beings, and especially the myth about the establishment of a country implies the whole course of the birth of a national primitive and the formation of a country. To understand a nation, one has to understand the myth of the country's establishment. Myth of a country's establishment not only reflects the formation of a county and a nation, but also tells us the origin of national spirit and beliefs. The myths of Korean, Mongolian, and Manchurian all intensely show their worships toward heavenly bodies, which can be known from the sense that the births of their primitives are for the sake of sky. Among these myths, sky is the creator, the supreme beings, and also the maker of the universe. The existences of all the bodies in the universe are all for the sake of sky. Then the worship for Sky God developed as a form of common belief, which was inherited from generation to generation. With the development of social production, there actually have been lots of changes in this sort of ancient worship for sky, and the worship sense and phenomenon for sky became weaker and weaker. Nevertheless, thetraditional mode has still been kept unchanged. As a result, the study on these aspects does lots of valuable deeds to the studies on history, ethnology, anthropology, mythology and so on.Third, national folk-beliefs could be known not only from the myth of a country's establishment, but also in the everyday life and custom of a nation. What is going to be stated in this thesis is that common worship for white reflects certain connections in the worship for sky among several different nations. Worship for white results from the worship for Sky God, and is based on the commonly intense belief for a certain color. The three nation's worships for white are all originated from their intense feelings and admirations towards Sky God, and developed into a kind of systematic sense of worship.Fourth, psychological beliefs in certain phenomenon and objects should be transferred by way of certain medias and objects, and also reflected as a certain specific form by them. This kind of object is just the folk-belief object, that is, Korean sot-dae, Mongolian ao-bao, and Manchurian suo-luo-gan stated in the thesis.
