Middle Chinese Word With The Prime Reverse Evolution

Inverse morphemes words are double syllable multiple words, which are consisted of the same morphemes with inversed sequence. Through exhaustive statistic of inverse morphemes words in representative monographs, such as Zhuangzi, Han Feizi, LU's Spring and Autumn Annals, the Historical Records, the Book of Han Dynasty, Lun Heng, History of the Three Kingdoms, History of Latter Han Dynasty, Shi Shuo Xin Yu, the Book of Song Dynasty, etc, the distribution, timeliness, ratio to contemporaneous multi-syllable words and its evolution in Mid-classical Chinese were described for the first time. The application characteristics, usage frequency and system specialty of inverse morphemes words were revealed from multi viewpoints.The emergence, development and evolution of inverse morphemes words were discussed methodologically to probe into its inner restrict mechanism through combining contemporaneous analysis and diachronic review, lengthways observation and transverse comparison, quantitative analysis and qualitative construes. Not only was the inverse morphemes words studied macroscopically from Chinese glossary system, but also microscopically from case study to search for the variation of acceptation. The unbalanced distribution of double sequence in the development of inverse morphemes words was mainly discussed, and the evolution discipline of which was summarized from Mid-classical to Modern Chinese.
