Chinese traditional metaphysics emphasized the importance of being itself. The character of cultivating being itself and pursuing ideal subsistence had shown itself since the Pre-Qin Dynasty. A majority of scholars formerly discussed being by way of the theory of Xin-Xing. This way should realize indeed the inner purport of Taoism and Confucian's aesthetics in the Pre-Qin Dynasty.Whereas, the Pre-Qin Taoism and Confucian thought being as a whole of body and mind. The corporal subjectivity theory is composed of the body theory and the theory of Xin-Xing. Nowadays the body theory of the Pre-Qin Taoism and Confucian has been discussed, but there isn't study of Taoism and Confucian's aesthetics by way of the body theory. The thesis anatomizes the corporal subjectivity theory of the Pre-Qin Taoism and Confucian and deeply comprehends life experience through the particular angle of the body theory. The thesis studies the corporal subjectivity 's aesthetics meaning farther with this understanding.The anterior part studies two questions. One is the foundation of the Pre-Qin Taoism and Confucian's corporal subjectivity theory, while the other is the character of it through discussing Qi theory.Firstly, Dao was the foundation of the Pre-Qin Taoism and Confucian's corporal subjectivity theory. As ultimate conception of Taoism, natural Dao was the existent's ontological and created springhead. Thing-in-itself naturally was Dao's essential prescription of existent state. Dao was incarnated in material the existent. The incorporation of Dao and existent was the foundation of Taoism's perfect corporal subjectivity which interacting with the nonego and universe. Ren composed by the body and mind had penetrated into being itself from Confucius to Mencius. As ultimate purpose of Confucian's ideal subsistence, Ren implicated deep-felt being dharma and consciousness. Based on this, Confucian's ideal subsistence set up harmonious relation with the others and society, and then nourishing noble spirit transfixed the world.Secondly, Qi was hinge of understanding the Pre-Qin Taoism and Confucian's corporal subjectivity theory. Qi swimmingly circulated which caused body and mind as a whole of corporal subjectivity itself, and then interacting with the nonego and universe. In Taoism, the world composed by natural Qi. As a whole being, Taoism'sperfect corporal subjectivity transcended the division of body and mind then made Qi circulate swimmingly. It showed itself through eliminating artificial action and preserving it's nature. In Confucian, Mencius affirmed morality Qi was being's substrate. The transfixion of Xing-Qi-Xin was Confucian's ideal subsistence. Inner spirit unfolded from exterior configuration that was Mencius' Jian-xing theory. The realization of Confucian's ideal subsistence also needed Li which indicated being as cultural existence.The posterior part studies studies two questions. Mencius' Liang-mou theory indicated the part should embody the whole. This theory established the elements of Chinese traditional art expression. When Taoism's perfect corporal subjectivity come true, the division of sense organ had been gotten through which conduced to understand the Synaestesia phenomenon in aesthetics action. The other question is the aesthetics meaning of life and death. Taoism thought the agglomeration or evanesce of Qi which bring on being live or dead. Taoism's perfect corporal subjectivity transcended numbered individual and dissolved the whole universe. It indicated the aesthetics attitude. Confucian thought dieing to achieve virtue hold the essence of being, Confucian's ideal subsistence achieved moral life immortally. On the other hand, the corporal subjectivity set up especial aesthetics relation. Based on the spread of corporal subjectivity, Confucian's ideal subsistence put itself in the place of another, achieved itself and nonego, made Noble-Spirit congesting the world. Based on transcending the division of body and mind then made Qi circulate swimmingly, Taoism's perfect corporal subjectivity made thing-in-itself naturally and syncretized the nonego and universe, then achieved natural and free aesthetics state.Secondly, embodiment is Chinese traditional art expression mode. Beauty rests with being as being itself, it is outpouring of natural corporal subjectivity in Taoism, and it's embodiment of inner spirit unfolded from exterior configuration in Confucian.
