The Yi-ology of heart-mind theory is an independent Yi learning paradigm which takes Yi of heart-mind as the core value. It returns to Changes and try to be creative, interpreting Yi Tao from heart-mind and proving heart-mind with Yi-ology.Xiangshan and Cihu’s Yi-ology is based on the interactive interpretation of mind and Yi Tao.This article mainly discusses how they integrate Yi Tao with mind and construct the Mind-Yi philosophy, which consists of the introduction, five chapters and conclusion. The introduction mainly summarizes the essential property and the formation background of Xiangshan and Cihu’s Yi-ology of heart-mind.The paper holds that the fundamental subject of Yi-ology of heart-mind is the realization of goodness and Tao.According to this, this section analyses the macroscopic background of Yi-ology of heart-mind diachronically, and discusses their family tradition and academic experiences about Yi-ology in details. The first chapter discusses Xiangshan and Cihu’s answer to the basic question of Yi-ology and their expressions about image-numerology of the Changes. In their opinion, the divination function of Changes is based on the moral integrity enlightenment, which reflects their interpretation motive for exploring meaning and principle. They raise doubts about the author of Xici, that is to question the meaning of the text.Although it can highlight their points, they are taken out of context actually. They put particular emphasis on the meaning analysis, but at the same time,image-numerology of the Changes is not ignored.Yi-ology of heart-mind generally follows the basic image-numerology application of Yizhuan, and Yi-ology in Han and Song dynasty.Interpreting the heart-mind principle is the purpose of their image-numerology.The second chapter discusses Xiangshan and Cihu’s Yi Tao theory in view of heart-ology.They inherit and create the insight of Confucius, establishing the yijian(means plainness and simplicity)logic of Yi-ology of heart-mind.Monism is the core characteristic of their interpretation of Yi-ology.The two have different understandings of monism.Xiangshan focuses on the supremacy and uniqueness of Taiji theory, while Cihu emphasize the integration connotation of Yi Tao.In contrast,Cihu thoroughly implements Xiangshan’s monism, further dispelling the opposing concepts such as Tao and Qi,Ben(root or trunk)and Mo(branches). The third chapter discusses Xiangshan and Cihu’s conscience ontology in the vision of Yi-ology.They integrate conscience with Yi Tao,thus establishing the value foundation of Yi-ology of heart-mind.Xiangshan maintains that the heart-mind can transcend the specific time and space, which make heart-mind have the same supremacy as Yi Tao.Cihu considers that change is rooted in heart-mind,emphatically explaining its nature of changing and no over-thinking.The relationship between mind and matter, mind and body is the core of integrating negative separation. They give the same but different explanation to this issue. For the realization of Yi Tao of heart-mind,both of them incorporate Yi Tao into conscience to prove its self-consciousness.Xiangshan focuses on restoring goodness through eliminating private material desire and personal prejudice, while Cihu advocates that there is no need to do anything superfluous, just remove prejudice and realize Tao by feeling and intuitional ability.Based on the analysis of Xiangshan and Cihu’s Yi-ology of heart-mind,the fourth chapter aims to explore their ultimate purport, that is pursuing the harmony of Yi Tao and humanity. This ideal picture is represented for integrating time and divination with person. It is a kind of humanistic theory,in which the concept of person means species-being but not individual person.Yi Tao and humanity is an indivisible whole, and the world is a commonwealth. For practical purposes,Confucians aspire to justice and practice Yi Tao in the realistic society, which makes the text of Changes gain eternal vitality. On the basis of discussing the content of Xiangshan and Cihu’s Yi-ology,the fifth chapter analyzes the interpretation methods.Through analyzing the specific interpretation content, the paper draws the conclusion that the intention of interpretation is constructed a kind of mind philosophy through the integration of classics and "I".For this reason, the Yi-ology of heart-mind has the characteristics of pursuing meaning and not insisting on textual interpretation. The mutual interpretation of heart-mind and Yi-ology is the implementation of the mutual annotation of classics and "I",which is completed in the integration of Changes with various scriptures, historical events, and with Buddhism and Taoism. They break through the traditional interpretation methods of classics and extend the classic interpretation back to presenting the heart-mind of person. The conclusion summarizes the theoretical characteristics of Xiangshan and Cihu’s Yi-ology,discusses the relationship between them, and analyzes the value of Yi-ology of heart-mind.According to the article, the two philosophers showed their own tendency of benevolence and wisdom, and their specific differences in theory reflect Cihu’s promotion of Xiangshan.Although there are some limitations in Yi-ology of heart-mind,which takes simplicity, subtlety and high spiritual awareness as its core characteristics,it changes the relationship between human with Yi Tao from the previous Yi-ology and realizes the spiritual awakening and self-enlightenment.The affirmation of the value of life and the criticism of the previous Yi-ology show the unique charm of the Yi-ology of heart-mind.
