This dissertation is mainly about the system of Kant's Critique of Judgment.1.The gulf of Kant's systemIn Kant's opinion, an immense gulf is fixed between the domain of the concept of nature and the concept of freedom. He tries to find a transition, which he finally found is the judgment, from the sensible to the supersensible. So comes Critique of Judgment. I think, his anxiety about the gulf derives from Plato's Idealism, and the judgment could not give so much to the gulf as Kant has thought. But the Critique of Judgment contributed a lot to Aesthetics and Teleology.2. a priori Principle in judgmentKant said, he found a priori Principle in judgment. By researching to Critique of Pure Reason and Naming and Necessity, by Saul Kripke, we found that in the strict sense of a priori, the a priori principle of judgment does not deserve ts name.3.About the AestheticaWith researching to Aesthetica, by Baumgarten, and Immanuel Kants Logik ein Handbuch zu Vorlesungen, by Kant, and comparing them to Critique of Judgment, we found why Kant changed his attitude to Aesthetics, and the essential of this change. Because Kant has never used the word aesthetisch in the meaning of feeling of beauty, so we come to a point that what in Chinese translation about Critique of Judgment, the word aesthetisch must not be translate as 'beautifully contemplating' .4.Teleology and PurposivenessCritique of Judgment has two parts, one is mainly about beauty, the other is about Teleology, and the beauty has much to do with subjective purposiveness, the Teleology with objective purposiveness (perfection).
