After Freedom: A Study On The Real Meaning Of Freedom As The Economic Ethics Category

Freedom is the category which must be established and defined in theory system of economics ethics, because it's the Primary category of ethics. Economic ethics is required to provide people's economic activities with the theoretical guides and behavior norms that are fit to human's values. In fact, the freedom concepts cited from the other theories are unsatisfied to economic ethics, therefore this thesis try to establish a category of freedom that satisfy it. The structure of the economic ethics theory is divided into micro-theory (for personal behavior) and mid-theory (for organizations behavior) and macro-theory (for institutes), freedom is the primary question throughout the three sectors. The thesis is writed, setting its base on the three traditions ( publicanism and liberalism and mentalism) and referring to the ideal lines of positive liberty and negative liberty, it analyses the course of transfer of liberalism theory and the theoretical essential in some works of its typical writer; reviews the statements on economic freedom by Marx. By the materialistic dialectic of Marxism, the thesis historically analyzes the staged development of economic freedom, and reaches of some new thoughts. Freedom makes its progress with the beginning of split of itself, steps to another plight, and gets the society of freedom consisting with individual of indirect contact by economic exchange. With the development, capital accumulating and efficiency chasing badly hurt the freedom to parts of people in our society, but it is them also, make it possible that the society obtains the material condition for freedom. In labor process, efficiency chasing improves our knowledge about the world, and the human capability grows continuously. It also makes people's capability for implement ethics increase; Economic development unites with the development of freedom of economic ethics. Human escape from the enslavement by society with the enhancment of independency of individual and reality of their sociality by market exchange because of the enlargment and deepen of the market. Under the conditions for development all-sided, people enhance their self-awareness so that human surpass the nature and society and ego finally, become freedom. The thesis agrees with the old authors'criticism about capital and efficiency and rights while it recognizes them of instrumental function on development of freedom, it's normality rationality on material lay and mental lay. Therefore, the capital aiming itself and institutes fixing on efficiency as only purpose and the idea taking order as freedom are not the reasons that disregard the reality of polarizing badly of world economics and disregard the human dignity and the losing of freedom. The thesis recognizes the rationality that people want the value of egality, if we have not take egality as purpose. Egality must accept the growth of human capability as a premise. Nature, society and human are the integer harmonizing each other, it is true only when individual freedom be comprehend in society. Moral freedom means that people make rules for himself and abide it; Human harmonize with nature and society by making rules for himself in economic sector, and settle with economic supply and distribute and consumption following this principle. By education, we transfer the freedom idea to our moral awareness and make it become our inner demand so that freedom can normalize the economic behaviour as a economic ethics category.
