A Study On The Cultural Connotation Of Native Novels In The New Period

This paper takes native novels in the New Period as the research focus. It considers the novels' cultural connotation as its major point. It not only surveys the tactic structure of novels'cultural implication, but also reviews the dynamic creating mode of their cultural intention. (Such as culture criticism, culture exploration, cultural revelation etc) and cohesive process. The whole dissertation is divided into five parts.The introduction part defines the connotation of native novel firstly. It gives a simple comparison between the concepts of"hometown novel" and"native novel", elaborates the reasons for choosing"native novel" as the core concept. Then analyzes the general establishing situation of the native novels'cultural during the years between May 4th Movement in 1919 to the years 1940s, and the 17 years from 1949 to 1966. implication for those 17 years. And it expounds basic feature of the native novels' cultural implication constitution in the New period. The introduction introduces the research methodology and the general structure of the whole dissertation.Chapter One basically discusses the transference of cultural perspectives in the New Period native novels. The years from In the end of 1970s to early 80s, are the peak period of native novel's creation. The political culture angle is the major vision during this period. This vision has left many culture blind spots in creation of native novels at that time. Form late 70s to early 80s, the creation of the native novels experienced a process from narrow political culture field to wider space culture: unconsciousness culture display, the awakening of culture consciousness and the self-conscious culture considerations, are the three links in the process of vision's transition.
