Money Note Du Fu "and The Epic Poetry Mutual Card Method

This dissertation makes an overall study on the tradition of Shi Shi Hu Zheng (诗史互证) from the relation of poetry and history by inquiring into the writing process, method and feature of Qian Zhu Du Shi (钱注杜诗). It is divided into three chapters.Chapter 1 explores how the tradition of Shi Shi Hu Zheng emerged and was established. It also inquires into the methods and characteristics of Qian Zhu Du Shi. This chapter includes two sections. Section 1 discusses the explaining method of poetry and the establishment of the tradition of Shi Shi Hu Zheng. It also includes two aspects, first, the author inquires into the changing process from ancient Jing Shu (经疏) to the method of the annotation of poetry. Then, the author explains the poetry hermeneutics' development in Song Dynasty, which is famous for annotating Du Fu' s Poetry (杜诗). Finally, the author inquires into the maturity of poetry hermeneutics and Shi Shi Hu Zheng' s method in Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. The author thinks that the appearence of Qian Zhu Du Shi shows the foundation of Shi Shi Hu Zhengs method. Section 2 mainly discusses the methods and characteristics of Qian Zhu Du Shi (钱注杜诗). The author thinks thet Qian Zhu Du Shi is based on the textual research' s method of Ching Xue (经学) and applies method the historical material' s method. So, Qian Zhu Du Shi is a typcial example of Shi Shi Hu Zheng' s method.Chapter 2 discusses the appearance of Qian Zhu Du Shi and Qian Qian-yi' s (钱谦益) writing attitude. It includes two sections. Section 1 analyses Qian' s motive and aim in the course of annotating Du Fu' s poetry, The author thinks the motive what Qian annotatated Du Fu' s peotry was only to practise his theory that "kept history by poetry. " His aim to annotate Du Fu' s poetry was to correct mistakes that the scholars of Song Dynasty made in their annotating Du Fu' s peotry and return to the original state. Section 2 analyses Qian Qian-yi' swriting attitude by inspecting the course of Qian Zhu Du Shi' s appearance. The author thinks Qian Qian-yi' s attitude was strict and serious to complete Qian Zhu Du Shi. So it had important academic value.Chapter 3 examines overally the traditional method of Shi Shi Hu Zheng. It also includes two sections. Section 1 inquires into the effect that Qia?i Zhu Du Shi gave the poetry hermeneutics of Qing Dynasty and the development of Du Shi Xue (tti^r'-J^) of Qing Dynasty. Section 2 inspects the effect that Qian Zhu Du Shi gave modern academic study. It also analyses concentratly the Shi Shi Hu Zheng' s research field of Chen Yin-que ($fcjtCt&) who was a modern scholar. The author thinks that Chen Yin-que inherited Qian Qian-yi' s method but he also made a breakthrough. He tried to get to the aim that literature and history blended together by studying Shi Shi Hu Zheng. So the author thinks that Chen Yin-que' s academic method has modern academic characteristic.
