The Study On The Poems On History In Song Dynasty

The poem on history takes the history as its theme, and holds the important status in the Chinese classical poetry. After the sprouting and developing in pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, North and South Dynasties, the poem on history has been fairly mature in Sui and Tang dynasties. In Song Dynasty, the poets inherited fully the creation of previous dynasties, and strived for the novelty, which made the poem on history perfectly. The study on the poems on history in Song Dynasty is important to make the processes of development of the poem on history clear, and study the relation between the poem on history and literature and history, analyze the change of the creation style and the thought of the poem. This article will take the poems on history in Song Dynasty as the research object, and the study will focus on its processes of development, artistic characteristic and cultural connotation.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter discusses the origin and the development of the poems on history before Song Dynasty. After discriminating Yong-shi from Huai-gu, Lan-gu, and Yong-gu, we put forward the judgment method based on the content and theme of the poetry. The concept of the poem on history is defined that the poem is one kind of poetry whose object is historical personages or the historical events. In the poems, the thoughts and feelings and some opinion of the poems is expressed. The origin and the development of the poems on history before Song Dynasty are discussed in the next section. There are some factors of Yong-shi in Shijing and Chuchi which is the sprouting of the poem on history, and the poem on history dawns because of the appearance of Ban-Gu's Yongshi in Han dynasty. The poem on history obtains further development in Wei, Jin, South and North Dynasties, and in Tang Dynasty, she tends to mature for the creation of Chen-Zi'ang, Li-Bai, Du-Fu, Liu-Yuxi, Du-Mu, Li-Shangyin and so on.
