The phenomenon of Aestheticism is a common one in contemporary society, which is not only limited in the daily life, but also spreads over every field of the modern society actually. The whole mind fields have this character and people begin to know and treat the surroundings with a kind of sensible eyes. This is the aestheticism school in contemporary .The problems of aesthetics have close collection with literature and art and if people want to know aestheticism deeply, they must penetrate from the angle of literature and art and focus on their inner structures. Based on the method of interdisciplinary studies, this article unites literature creation with theory and focuses on the complex features and flowing phenomena of the post 19^th century west literature mainly.Aestheticism experienced three stages as germ, maturation and expansion in the post- 19^th century west literature.Romanticism Literature shows the individual emotion fields and affirms the personal sensible impulse for the first time. It makes obvious aesthetic reflection and criticism to the capitalistic modern civilization in the literature history and its aesthetic tenet and value direction promotes the generation of aestheticism. But because at the stage of germ, romanticism literature also stays in the Utopian kingdom, avoids the realistic world and neglects the sensible living life of people.Stating from realistic living and sensible life, confronting and objecting realistic tragic bravely is the symbol of aestheticism maturation, which reflects in the life imitating art of aestheticism school, living experience Gide emphasized and sexual instinct Lawance expressed. The aestheticism problems of this stage are very complex and people always confront the hot conflict between sensation and rationality, soul and flesh.After the Second World War, a kind of new gap called "the beat generation" describes a group of people who goes in for the extreme experience among the drugs, sex and alcohol. They push the sensible impulse of modern people to the peak. At this time sensation and lust always mixed together and people chased the body and sense excitement more, completely breaking loose the bondage of rationality, spirit and morality. All these discovered the potential crisis of the aestheticism.During the process of analyzing the aestheticism symptom of different west literature, we can feel the inner trouble of aestheticism clearly. Aestheticism is built on the dualistic mode through which people look at the world and themselves, so it is very difficult for people to avoid the contradiction and conflict between sensation and rationalism, soul and flesh. Aestheticism goes from one extreme to another during the process of its opposing rationalism, which makes it difficult to avoid the jam subjectivity brings to the person, so if people want to go out of this jam, they must go out of the subjectivity trouble and built the relationship with the other person and the world. Aestheticism also has another crisis from panegyric sensation because the incredibility, unreality, relativity and variety of sensation cannot undertake the last value judge, which makes the widespread nihilism. The second chapter to the forth one analyzes the different features of aestheticism in different phrases of literature elaborately from respective angles. From what talked above, the last chapter pays attention to the inner plight of aestheticism and tries to find a new outlet.In front of the complex aesthetic phenomenon of culture and literature in contemporary China, the journey with the west aesthetic literature has very important meaning.
