The Study On Emotionally Perplexed Level Of Caregiver For Alzheimer's Patients

The purpose of this study is to review and discuss on emotionally perplexed level of family caregivers (Hidden Sick person) for dementia (Alzheimer's) patients. Of the caregivers, how much of them know about the physical and psychological situation of dementia's and how much of them know about their own health conditions?In the research all the caregivers (including family members) of Alzheimer's patients is defined as the population. .A set of random sample for the study is taken from four care centers of dementia for elderly people, including St. Joseph Home of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia, Shihlin Elderly Center of Bread of Life Christian Church, the Elderly Center of Taipei Ren-ai Hospital, and Taipei Homecare Association. There are a total of 43 effective samples been collected.A SPSS statistical package was applied for data process in the study. In order to analyze data sets, understand the relationships among given variables, and conclude on the important results of this research, some statistical methods rather than descriptive statistics were also introduced, such as contingency tables, chi-squares tests, factor analyses, analysis of variance, and discrimination analysis.
