| With an increasing proportion of the recent detection of children with behavioral problems, Children’s mental health issues to be concerned about all sectors of society. Based on past studies on child behavior problems analysis shows that lack of self-awareness is one of the reasons for the formation of child behavior problems, both of which have significant correlation.C urrently, we have only few intervention studies on self-awareness and behavioral problems,and to now have not a very good way to change this.In the analysis of previous studies, this study surveyed a primary school in Q ufu to understand the status of self-awareness and behavioral problems.And developed a corresponding group counseling programs, try to explore possible to improve self-awareness and improving intervention for children with behavioral problems.This study consists of two parts.The first part used PHCSS and PSQ Scale to measure 251 students, in order to explore the status quo of students’ self-awareness and behavioral problems. Data analysis showed that children with behavior p roblems was 20.7%, and children with lower self-consciousness was 36.7%. Different genders and class leader children differ in self-awareness and behavior.At the same time the level of self-awareness and behavior problems of primary school children have differences in sex and class cadre factor.The second part is the Group Counseling Intervention on Pupils’ self-awareness and behavioral problems. In this part,we used the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment test. By standardized tests, group process questionnaire, interviews after the study and other assessment methods to track the quantitative and qualitative to assessment of the effect of the intervention, ultimately concluded that: group counseling can significantly improve the children out of self-awareness and the level of each factor on the score, and can significantly reduce child behavior problems score on each factor.In summary, the study concluded that children in primary stage who lacked self-consciousness and got behavior problems was in a high percentage, and differ in different demographic characteristics. Group counseling can improve the child’s self-awareness and improve behavior problems. |
