Islamic Studies, Contemporary Gansu, Ningxia And Qinghai In The Process Of Urbanization

This thesis mainly studies the special manifestation pattern of Islam in three regional capital cities of Gansu Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province. The thesis takes the three regional cities, Xining, Linxia and Wuzhong, as case study. In the view of dialectic relationship between modernization and tradition, it also states the historical development and cotemporary changes of Islam in these three cities. And it will discuss the reality that development in rural areas will be guided by big cities in the northwest of China. Meanwhile, the fact that globalization, modernization and urbanization have all-out influence on China let us know that in the process of carrying out the West Development Strategy, we need not only deal with the relationship between development and construction of social economy, but also deal with the relationship between physical environment and social environment, between physical environment and our living environment. We must pay attention to the establishment of humanism environment and to the west area of China, especially the northwest area which is a part of multivariate entity pattern.
