The New Period is most compelling for its vitality and flexibility. Unavoidably, every profound change in Chinese Novels in New Period coincides with a western critic discourse. psychoanalysis is one of them. The introduction of psychoanalysis has not only witnessed the revolutionary changes in Chinese Novels in the New Period, but also become one of the most inseparable factors help accelerate the transition of the notion of human being in an abstract sense. Psychoanalysis novels in Chinese New Period seem to have some comparability with western psychoanalysis novels. However, taking its specific historical discourse into full consideration, psychoanalysis novels in Chinese New Period has well combined the contextual discourse with an alien theory so as to obtain its unique artistic characteristics and creative identity.This dissertation consists of six parts. Chapter three, together with chapter four, focusing respectively on the notion of world and notion of creative subjectivity, analyzes the unique features and artistic values of psychoanalysis novels in Chinese New Period. Circling around the great shocks psychoanalysis novels in Chinese New Period has charged on the traditional notion of human being, the two chapters discusses the particular literature subjects and artistic forms constructed with a transformed notion.
