The author researches comprehensively into the Mongolian dramatic literature ofnew era. The thesis makes an all-round analysis of the drama texts from a diversity ofangles such as language features, structures, plots, characters and the culturalpsychology of the nation. It is aimed at revealing the main pattern, the artisticdistinctiveness and the current state of Mongolian dramatic literature. The authorthinks that the dramatic literature, with the influence of dramatic traditions, nationalpsychology, the society and the times, is on the way to maturity.In the first chapter, the author gives readers a brief introduction about thedevelopment of Mongolian dramatic literature through deep analysis of thetransformation of cultural background, the evolution in recipients' appreciation ofbeauty and the division as well as re-organization of the writer group. In the secondchapter, from the detailed analysis of the language of Mongolia dramas, the authorconcludes that its language is distinctive and full of movement. It, a part from beinghumorous and vivid, has clear rhythm and strong national characteristics. Besides,Mongolian dramas of new era use hosts of lyric and narrative language. In the thirdchapter, she analyzes three leading patterns of the structure in the dramatic literature,including dramatic structure, narrative one and prose-like one, in terms of its plot andstructure. Also, the author presents several routine skills in forming the structure ofMongolian dramas. The chapter four focuses on the creation and portrait of charactersof Mongolian dramatic literature of the new era. Moreover, the author puts forwardher own idea about the creation of the Mongolia dramatic sketch. In the last chapter,the author discusses the uniqueness and the cultural psychology of the nation in theMongolian dramatic literature.
