Discussion On The Theory Of New Democratic Society

The new democratic society, a transitional societyand an independent democratic society after the victory of the newdemocratic revolution, is a creative theory in Marxism, which is differentfrom the Capital society and socialist society. Taking the basic principleof Marxism as guidance, combining with the current situation in China,absorbing the advanced achievements in the development of human society,the new democratic society formulated a series of practical program forsocial development. The new democratic society is a completely new formof society in China. This paper will illustrate its root, its course ofhistorical development, its scientific value and its relationship withthe current theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The theory of new democratic society has the profound theoretical originwith the theory of social transformation in backward Oriental states, withLenin's theory of revolutionary phrases, with the theory of colonial andsemi-colonial states, and with the new economic policies. All thesetheoriesare the logical starting point of the new democratic social theory:it draws on the rational part of Sun Zhongshan's three Principles of thenew democratic society, which is the historical basis of the theory ofthe new democratic society. Its formation is a long-term historicalprocess of development. Since its founding, the Communist Party of Chinahas begun to explore the theory during the long years of revolutionarypractice and exploration. The theory of new democratic society waseventually formed in the period of anti-Japanese War.Establishment of a new form of political organization and new socialstructure in human history is the purpose of new democratic society. In theoperation of new democratic society, it boldly utilizes the reasonablecomponents of the capitalist system, adopts the operation model of the marketeconomy, and eventually achieves fruitful results in the political, economicand cultural development.The new democratic society changes with China's revolution since itsbirth. There are two stages divided by the Meeting of the Communist Partyof China Central Committee in September 1948. In the first stage, CommunistParty of China improves its understanding and practice: in the second stage, the understanding of the new democratic society gradually changes. Becauseof the political environment home and abroad in that period, and thestrategic choice of giving priority to the development of heavy industryand others, the new democratic society is eventually abandoned.Compared with other social structures, the new democratic society andthe socialist society, both of them belong to the Marxism, have more in thesame gene.
