Research On Uighur Translation Of Guideline For Xi Jinping Thought On Socialism With Chinese Characteristics For A New Era

Having the function of communicating and implementing the political system and policy of the state and the Party,political literature can reflect the thoughts of state leaders and represent the will of the state and the Party.In the course of translating political literature,a translator should maintain a rigorous attitude,since the reading experience of readers directly depends on the quality of translation.The Outline of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era(hereinafter referred as The Outline)is an important document of the Party.It is extremely important to be faithful to the original version of The Outline and translate it in a rigorous and meticulous attitude,so as to communicate the thoughts of the Central Committee in different regions.Currently,we are still exploring the research on the Uygur translation of political documents,especially The Outline.Therefore,it is of practical meaning to study the Uygur translation of The Outline.The paper consists of introduction,main body,conclusion and the corpus of The Outline.The introduction part presents the research objective and meaning of the paper,analyzes the status and trend of the research on The Outline and other political literature,and elaborates the research method and innovation point of the paper.The main body includes five chapters.Through learning and analyzing the text,the first chapter concludes and puts forward the five major features of The Outline in translation.The second chapter analyzes the text from lexical,sentence and rhetoric levels.Specifically speaking,at the lexical level,the translation deals with political,economic,cultural,military,legal and ecological terms.At the sentence level,the author analyzes the translation of conjunctive complex sentences and attributive complex sentences.The author also studies the rhetorical devices adopted in The Outline.In combination with case analysis,the third chapter explores the strategies,methods and skills used in the translation of The Outline.Based on the analysis of the previous chapters,the fourth chapter attempts to propose the translation principle of“Five Equivalence”.The last chapter discusses the difficulties in translation during the writing of the paper,and the enlightenment on translation research obtained through reflection and analysis.The conclusion part expounds the main idea of the paper and the author’s reflection,and concludes the research of the paper.
