A Research On The Development Of The Chinese Classical Dance

This Ph.d dissertation relates to the development of the Chinese Classical Dance. The focus lies on the process-making of a classical dance - the law of the making of a classical dance. By looking back its history and analyzing its contemporary construction, the author tells about the nature, the features and the significance of the Chinese Classical Dance.The Chinese Classical Dance plays a strong role on the stage of the Chinese contemporary dance. Though it was established after the setting up of the New China, it has achieved greatly since then. After its 50th anniversary, we can have a periodic summary for its development.There are five chapters in this dissertation, 1, A general statement. 2, Talking about its establishment and development. 3, Looking back at its history. 4, Comparison with other classical dancing forms in the world and a discussion of the nature of the Chinese Classical Dance. 5, A research and analysis on its nature.
