Against the contradiction of the theory and reality in ''the Confucianism only" and the complex relationship between the school of Huang-Lao and kingcraft, following the clues of "the Confucianism only'"s precursor, preparative and consummation, the study outlines the course of the establishing of Han Dynasty 's ideology under the support of kingcraft of Huang-Lao. The establishing of the ideology comes through a historical and logistic course. In the historical road, the Fajia(legalist school)'s despotism in Qin dynasty and the Huang-Lao school's rule in Early Han Dynasty as two precursors, the transformation and adjustment in Confucianism make it ready to be ideology and the policy of "the Confucianism only" supported by Han Wudi and Dong Zhongshu radicates the ideology. On the reign of the Han Zhaodi and Han Xuandi, the ideology is health but to be vicious expansion in Han Yuandi. The establishment keep step with the growing up of kingcraft: on the basis of the Fajia's and the Huang-Lao's kingcrafts, Han Wudi and his successors make the kingcraft be a perfect form, that means "the balance of Confucianism and Fajia under the rule of Huang-Lao ". The mature kingcraft gives Confucianism as the ideology a wonderful security, which be breached by Han Yuandi. In the trace of thought, Han Fei makes the demonstration of the form "only" and the "Fajia only", and Lvshichunqiu, Huainanzi offer the "Huang-Lao only". Using the reference of the two pioneer and following the efforts of Lu Gu, Jia Yi and The Book Of Rites, Dong Zhongshu achieves the demonstration of Confucianism to be ideology. With the harvest of Huang-Lao's governing, Huanglaoboshu, Sima Tan and Sima Qian, offer the argumentation of Huang-Lao's kingcraft. In the hand of Han Wudi, according the advantages and disadvantages of Huang-Lao and Fajia, in conformance of the rise of Confucianism, the incomplete kingcraft with the balance between rewards and punishments is changed to be the mature ones with the balance between Confucianism and Fajia. Accordingly, the feasibility of Confucianism being ideology is realized. The paper is composed of eight sections to deploy the above. The method of this study puts emphasis on the coincidence between history and logic, on the combination of history and theory, and on the interaction between thought and society.
