The 21st century is the human ecological century. Chinese ecological theory is still in the state of construction under the impact of the world swept green ecological tide. The ecological criticism of Chinese literature,the research and development of Chinese ecological literature are still an area to be explored. It will have a positive and far-reaching significance if the formation of ecological aesthetics consciousness of Chinese literature and the construction of Chinese ecological literature can be organized in theory and text. This paper presents the history process of the formation and development of Chinese modern Ecological Aesthetics consciousness after discussion from six aspects.In the introduction,this paper elaborates the background and value of Ecological Aesthetic issue which has been puts forward. It also briefly reviews the current situation of theoretical study on current ecological literature creation and the Ecological criticism.In chapter I,this paper specifically defines the theory category of Ecological Aesthetic consciousness. In the Ecological Aesthetics field,the basic logic,aesthetic ideals and valuable connotation of Ecological Aesthetics has been initially established. Ecological Aesthetics pronounces human Utopia color that it takes harmonious symbiosis of human and nature as its objective and then on basis of the harmonious relationship between human and nature,it probes into the harmonious aesthetic relationship between human and society as well as human and itself. With regard to the valuable connotation of Ecological Aesthetics , its current definition still lacks systematic ness and consistency. In this aspect,professor Zeng Fanren has puts forward his theory of ecological genuine beauty,ecological existentialism beauty,ecological nature beauty,ecological ideal beauty and the ecological dimension of aesthetic criticism , while professor Zeng Yongcheng has puts forward his theory of ecometeorogical beauty,ecological order beauty,ecological function beauty,ecological personality beauty,etc. There are lots of theoretical issues remain to be deepened and refined. The view of Ecological Aesthetics shows originality of the theory.In chapter II,this paper introduces social cultural context of the formation of modern ecological aesthetic consciousness. Modern sense of ecological aesthetics had formed and developed together with Chinese modernity enlightens. There were both reception and identity under the impact of western ecological thinking,and the growing up inevitability of subject consciousness in the realistic dilemma of ecological crisis. The formation of Chinese modern ecological aesthetic consciousness kept in close touch with modernity cultural context in the 20th century. Speaks in a way,it was Chinese modernity development which ultimately led to the formation of modern ecological aesthetic consciousness. Chinese modernity in the 20th century was begin with the awakening of human subjectivity,and the awakening of human subjectivity realized the spirit ecology enlightens of human itself. In industrial society,the world became unfamiliar and complex,and the opposition and estrangement ultimately led to the ecological crisis.In chapter III,this paper organized the evolutional process of ecological aesthetic consciousness of Chinese modern literature. In the entire 20th century,ecological theme was always in an anonymous state all the time in Chinese literature,and it presented narrative structural characteristics of recessive writing. Modern Chinese Literature theme of human and nature was in the state of constant adaptation. Despite the evolution of this theme possesses gradualism,it always been mixed with different discourse,and implied in the nation-state,war,local,political,cultural root,and other multiple narrative structures.In chapter IV,this paper presents the characteristics of ecological literature and text form. Ecological literature is a newly proposed concept; in fact,it opens up a new perspective for literary creation and criticism. In this new perspective,the literature obtains a new system attribute exists in literature under which has never emerged by self-conscious system form. Now,ecological literature is proposed because that this potential system attribute is begin to emerge in the form of self-consciousness at a large degree,and is practiced widely in the field of creation. There are diversified natural writing texts such as ecological pre-warning report,prose,essay,as well as diversified literature style such as ecological poem,ecological novel,and ecological drama. Ecological literature creation has emerged in a unique ecological aesthetic feature.In chapter V,this paper introduces identity and difference of ecological aesthetics. Ecological aesthetics is an open and inclusive aesthetic system,therefore,in its internal,it is necessary that identity and difference coexist. Identity mainly embodies consistency of basic aesthetic context,value of content and aesthetic standards of ecological aesthetics. However,in different area,nation and gender,the present ways of ecological aesthetics are different in a thousand ways. This kind of richness and diversity is just one of the features which maintain stability,balance,vitality and vigor of the ecosystem.Although the development of Chinese ecological literature has made considerable progress,but there are still promoting space in creation and aesthetic appearance.
