Dimension Of Ecological Aesthetics Of The TV Documentary Theme

Ecological aesthetics has been a hot theme in the aesthetic field since 1990s, for which it naturally has background characteristics of times and great research significance. The thesis begins with the legality of the concept of the ecological aesthetics, and summarizes the status quo of researches on the ecological aesthetics and the significance of choosing it as the research object, as the preface of the thesis.The thesis holds that the ecological aesthetics of the TV documentary theme has extended the dimension of the ecological aesthetics. The first chapter of the thesis explores the relationship between the TV documentary and the ecological aesthetics, i.e. from the three aspects of context, culture and peculiarity. The harmonious symbiosis relationship between man and nature is the contact point for the TV documentary to merging with the ecological aesthetics. The merging of the two not only makes the TV documentary improve its inherent implication aesthetically and philosophically, but also has great practical significance on maintaining the harmonious between man and nature, man and society and man and the ego.Based on that, the second chapter of the thesis explores the ecological aesthetic implication reserving in the TV documentary with the example of the TV documentary,"Heaven ?Earth ?Man"Trilogy, i.e."the beauty in the harmonious symbiosis of man and nature", whose connotations involve three aspects, i.e. the beauty of harmony, the beauty of life and the beauty of art.To further discuss the relationship between the TV documentary and the ecological aesthetics, the third chapter explores the deep connotations, i.e. the significance of thoughts and social values, of the TV documentary,"Heaven ?Earth ?Man"Trilogy, from the ecological aesthetics perspectives. This chapter also analyzes the multi-level aesthetic relationships between man and nature, man and society and man and the ego, i.e. the harmony and unity of"man-nature-society". All of those serve as strong theoretical support for the dimension of the ecological aesthetics of the TV documentary theme.In a word, the researches on the dimensions of the ecological aesthetics of the TV documentary theme have enlarged the research field of modern ecological aesthetics. The ecological aesthetic significance in the TV documentary,"Heaven ?Earth ?Man"Trilogy, is analyzed on the basis of the existed researches on ecological aesthetics, relating to the present ecological environment and culture background of the times, combined with the philosophic culture of ecological aesthetics and using proper theories and research methods of aesthetics, communication, sociology, natural sciences etc. The research achievements have not only exhibited the great significance of such themes as"harmony","life"etc. in the modern society, but also aroused man's attention to and reflection over the living conditions of every living organism in the universe.
