China has a long history and unique cultural traditions. This social phenomenon of gambling inextricably linked with the political, economic, military, cultural, religious and social customs, etc. has been active in people's lives. This search intended to use the Theory of Reasoned Action-TRA and the Theory of Planned Behavior-TPB as oriented, and also using the scale that I created (The attitude of the Macau People participating in gambling) to investigate the attitude and the intention of the characteristics of the Macau people who participate in gambling, with a view of setting up a suitable prediction of the theoretical model of people's attitude in Macau, so as to build up a healthy entertainment to provide reference for betting. This study assumes that the two models TRA and TPB could explain to some extent the gambling's attitude of those who take part in gambling. Their behaviors can be partially be proved by this theory. Using the models of TRA and TPB as the cornerstones and also based on the interviews with experts and learn from the basis of the information of the predecessors to prepare the"Macao people to participate in gambling attitudes questionnaire"with 184 questions.First set up , then conducted a formal psychological test against 556 Macao residents and through SEM analysis, examine a cross-sample validity of the 4 theoretical models, and the TRA6 factor model as the base to set up a Theoretical model of estimating the attitude of the Macau people participating in gambling. The model is finally defined in the Gambling Attitude Scale with 89 titles, and formed a complete set of the Gambling Attitude ScaleThe main conclusion of this study is: based on the relationship between attitudes and behavior, the Theory of Reasoned Action-TRA (TRA6 factor model) is indirectly supported. Such model can distinguish very well the gambling addicts and the ordinary residents, such model has good empirical validity. In another words, the tentative idea of using the to estimate the gambling behavior could be implemented.
