The dissertation of articles review modern times cultural exchange history between China and Canada, make use of some unpublished English materials, use Canadian missionaries as the thread, study Protestant church missionaries of China Inland Mission, northern Henan, western Sichuan and Catholic church missionaries sent to China, introduce and analyse Norman Bethune, Chester Ronning and James G. Endicott in particular, write synopsis of overseas Chinese in Canada and information about cultural exchange, make commentaries on Boxers, New life movement and Missionaries Evacuation, wish to unfold the scenarios of modern times cultural exchange history of two different nations, bring forward the Gospel-Humanity Spirit of Canadian missionaries, namely take Jesus'Universal Love and Sacrifice as the model to fulfil Christian Gospel in the world, do good jobs with all heart and all might, bring benefit to society and people, and make one's character and spirit noble in the same time.
