Hung Kan is a famous scholar of Liang Kingdom in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. His works survived in the world is LunyuYishu and some residual culture of Explanatory Notes on the Book of Rites"and Xiao Jing Yi Shu. Mainly from the perspective of the Classics study, the previous research by academics reveals the characteristics of the fusion of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in his thinking. However, such studies lack theoretical depth of philosophy.View from the source of thought, Hung Kan inherites the traditional theories, "human nature is physical attributes" and "human nature is Qi", in particular, by the impact of Kao-tzu, Hsun-tzu and Confucians from Han and Wei Dynasties, and he put forward the proposition of" human nature is born with".Hung Kan thinks that all the people born with Qi, so human nature is quite similar and this is the common features of human. But because of the intrinsic thickness of Qi, so human nature is "with much" and this is the human personality characteristics. Based on the view of commonality, human nature is no good and no evil. In the relationship of human nature and feelings, Hung Kan draws on Wang. But he emphasis the intrinsic rationality of the human natural and tries to restore the natural truth. From the personality perspective, because people born with different intrinsic thickness of Qi, the potential qualities of human nature are different. Limited by the qualities, the exposition of human nature in reality is different. But for everyone, human nature exists the self-sufficiency, but also he can pursuit such self-sufficiency, highlight the value of life and meaning of self.Starting from the common human nature, Hung Kan believes that benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom were born in human nature that some five different quality, that is, the content or potential of human nature. However, looking from the human personality, there is the intrinsic thickness of Qi divided for each person resulting in "benevolence" is of how much of difference there. The only person of benevolence can effectively demonstrate their potential to become Habitat for Humanity of benevolence, and of rare benevolence often affected by the environment can not effectively show the benevolence of people and become heartless.Hung Kan also thinks that when the natural expression of the manifest as compassion and affectionate and altruism, that is, "line benevolence". However, potential benevolence of each person is different and the functions of their benevolence is also different. So, there is the functions of the sage, the holy teacher and the gentleman. Similarly, based on the theory of human nature, Hung Kan believes filial piety and benevolence are identical in nature, both with natural honey, instead of themselves benefit his property; but from the blood, filial affection is the most basic and fundamental part in the benevolence.By the piety extended to the line benevolence, filial piety has the status as the base of "one hundred lines ",not only to parents and also related to political and social. Hung Kan's theory of human nature also has an important impact on his Ritual. He thinks the ritual and the principle originated Qi. So the ritual has the world's rationale and this rationale should also be followed in the real world.Meanwhile, Hung Kan has inherited the thinking of "Saint ritual"in the Confucian tradition. He reveals the origin of the ceremony and showing the saints communicate the natural order and the social order through the ritual as the authoritative statement and support for Norm social system development and implementation. It is noteworthy that Hung Kan not only emphasizes the thinking of respect norms, but also focus on internal emotional. Not only advocated the formulation of three-year mourning period, the parents love from the human potential of natural affection; also believed that attendance in.From the development of academic history, the metaphysics gradually fade in Liang Kingdom of the Southern Dynasties. And meanwhile, the Confucianism increasingly prosperous. Hung Kan is seasonal sky.Based on the Confucian tradition, he expounded the philosophy of human nature about Qi by the explanation of the Classics which it has the color of Han-Wei dynasties. He showed the characteristics of Confucianism in this period. In a word, the philosophy of Hung Kan not only become an unique flower in the history of Confucianism. Moreover, Hung Kan's writing has a profound impact on the repair of "the Five Classics " in Tang dynasty and Xing Bing's Commentaries on the Analects of Confucius in Song and promoted the process of Confucian moral principles.
