Research On Historiography View And The Writing Of Chinese Modern Literature History

Modern literature historiography view is a hot topic in academic research. Many scholars invested considerable effort and obtain certain results. The main impacts to the writing of Chinese modern literature history are theory of evolution, classic and modernity. In surface, the impacts to the writing of Chinese modern literature history are short-lived, but in depth study is not that. When take evolution theory as an example, we found it still potentially impact our history writing. The method that this dissertation used is in morphology. Except theory of evolution classic and modernity, the study of Sima Changfeng and Chih-tsing Hsla are important.In addition to an'Introduction'and'Conclusion', this dissertation has 7 chapters.Introduction:There are two methods of current literature historiography study. The first one is focused on writing morphology. The second one is focused on theory investigation. As the first one has already obtained achievement, this dissertation mainly focused on theory study. Despite the study mainly focused on theory, but it didn't overlook the writing also.History and the knowledge of history are two frequently using but the more confusing concept. History is a'past'. The knowledge of history account based on our understanding of'the past'. In the modern sense, the emergence of literature history is recently. It's an account and record of literary creation. Unlike political history,event history, literature history not only concern'real',but also'goodness'and'beauty'etc.Chapter 1: Literature Historiography View and Modern Literature Historiography ViewLiterature historiography view is a view of history. View of history is a conception that held by people writing or thinking on history. View of history guide us how recorded our history. Literature historiography has oppeared for a long time in China. As to modern literature historiography view, it's appearance is followed the development an change of the knowledge of history. There are two meanings of modern literature historiography view. Firstly, it's a conception toward ancient literature historiography view. Secondly, because of the Chinese modern literature history has become an independent subject; modern literature historiography also means the opinion or conception on writing Chinese modern literature history. It's meaning in the dissertation is refer to the second level. Chapter 2: Evolution Literature Historiography View and It's Application in the Writing of Chinese Modern Literature History.Theory of evolution has powerful influence to the writing of Chinese modern literature history. Because of Darwin's evolution theory, the evolution theory is a term that used in biology. For some purposes, the Europeans introduced it to the social development. Yan Fu and other intellectuals introduced it to China and they distorted the theory. The mainly distorted understanding is neglect the maladjustment that the biological theory applied in social field. The variation and degradation that in the development also be neglected. Hu Shi was an early advocater of evolution. He pay attention to folk literature that opening the horizon literature research has.'The Great Series of Chinese New Literature (1917-1927)'is the expression of evolution literature historiography view. The writing of Chinese modern literature history must abandon'new'and'old'system as the valuejudgment.Chapter 3: Classic Theory on Literature Historiography View and It's Application in the Writing of Chinese Modern Literature History. The classic theory of literature directly comes from the theory of Maxist's and Mao Zedong's etc. Classic theory on literature historiography view judges the value of writing according to the writer's class that he (she) born from. It believed that the writer who born in advanced class have excellent writing. Li Dazhao had partly introduced the class and class struggle doctrine.
