New Music (1945-1960) Study

From immemorial time,Taiwan is a part of Chinese sacred territory.Its special geography position and complicated history culture chang are conceiving abundant colorful music in Taiwan. Chinese and Japanese armor noon after naval battle In 1895, the cross-straits insulates over a long period of time, the understanding of music in Taiwan for us is still limited.Therefore paying attention to and studying Taiwanese music has become our musician's important topic.Again from the cross-straits currently concerning Taiwan music of research result, although there is Taiwanese music that the part treatises about 1945-1960's, but haven't yet see to carry on overall treatise to Taiwanese new music from 1945 to 1960.But the writer thinks, seeing from the whole Taiwanese music history development progress,it is a special history periods for 1945-60s.On the one hand, after Taiwan recovered Chinese sovereignty in 1945, the new music culture had a new departure;On the other hand, citizen's government moved to Taiwan in 1949, so the music art in the period had the special,regional features and art form.If we don't understand this music culture at that time,we can not understand Taiwanese music history so completely and not systematic.So carrying on a research to this Taiwanese new music at that time,not only filled up this research blank ,but also had important academic research value.For this, the writer take"Modern musicians in Taiwan from 1945 to 1960 " as a research object, with thoroughly cultural heritage data and the dictation history of music person for foundation, under respecting objective history from seting out the social background then, take important person,matter,thing as to study main line, make use of a macroscopic and tiny view to combine together of research method, new musical feature are carried on an objective description, inquiry into lately musical characteristics, and understand its special position in Taiwanese music history.The text contents four parts:First,the construction and the development of music education (chapter 1). We have investigated and studied the common music education and professional music education in a period,by the Sign which the music course standard of the primary schools and high schools, elementary and middle schools music teaching material, music department of normal university in Taiwan province, music department of the political cadre school; Second, for the development of the literature organization, social music activity and music media(chapter 2).First of all,we carry on an investigation to this literature organization for expect,which includes the Taiwan culture association,Taiwan symphony orchestra,Chese literature cash award committee, Chinese orchestra of "Broadcasting corporntion of China ","institute of national music". Next and from the concert,the whole province music game,the military song expansion activity and outward various aspect, carry on testing to study to the social music activitythen.Furthermore,to observe and study about to music media,which include《the choose folk song lately》,music programme of" Broadcasting corporntion of China "and the far east music club;Third,the musician and the professional musical composition(chapter 3) point introduction to these musical composers who are both side from the mainland and Taiwan, meanwhile according to the music form, give a review to the musical composition that expects Taiwan at that time, and carry on musicology analysis to the main work;Fourth,It is the pop song creations(chapter 4).incloded pedestal language,national language two parts,question at that time the topic contents and characteristics of the pop song, and carried on analysis to the music special features of the main work.The writer thinks from studying,the system study, and think that Taiwan for 1945-60s,besides social music life,it has also appearance much better,they provided precious foodstuffs to the spiritual life of the Taiwanese people.The More important, it plays a "bridge" function which is on the whole Taiwanese music the development history, not only abandonned the colonize music culture that Taiwan had been colonized by Japan,and recovered the tradition of music and cultural for the Chinese nation, but also it laid solid foundation for the development of musical career in Taiwanese.
