31 Faith ceremony is one carrying body of Puxian culture (Xinghua culture), It highlights the region a unique form of Puxian religious ideas, namely combined the Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism into one。In golden age,31 Faith was ever widely accepted by the regions as follow:Fuzhou, Gutian, Minqing, Pingtang, Jianning, Wuyi, Shaowu, Guangzhe, Ninghua of Fujian province, and Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu, Beijing, Henan, Shanxi, Shandong province, it was attracting the world's acclaimed at that time. In modern times, With the footprint of overseas immigrants,31 Faith is popular in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, Hongkong of China, moreover, it also spread onward into Europe and the United States。However, the influence of 31 Faith is mainly widespread in dialect region of Putian and Xianyou county, particularly in Xianyou county. Therefore, the scope of the study topic areas focused on Xianyou county, for the current situation of 31 faith in Xianyou county, surrounding the spread popularity of 31 faith in Xianyou county, we do the comprehensive fieldwork practice from the aspects of history, political, economic and cultural, and emphasize 31 Faith description of ceremony voice feature, the use of music and how to use of music, at the same time, according to the psychological Perspective faith and the function and role of ritual music of people in Xianyou county, we explain and summarize these cultural matters from perspective of the folk music, folklore, sociology, anthropology and other multi-disciplinary.The study is based on more stringent groundwork on field work, through the history and specific status of the investigation, we give the Objective description and analysis related matters, management systems, implementation, organizational structure, Musical Culture Inheritance of 31 Faith ceremony. The paper is basically built on the structural framework of "Overview-points out-Overview". For the 31 Faith discourse analysis of ritual music, we follow the general layout from the macro to the micro and then to macro.The paper is divided into seven chapters, The study involved 31 Faith history, current situation in Xianyou county, a ceremony of the occasion, the ceremony features music, ritual use and how to use music and other aspects. The paper also explore associations between the 31 Faith ritual music and the local folk music. In Chapter 1, the paper combing the basis of historical development of 31 Faith, exploring the spread scope of 31 Faith, and further presents 31 Faith in the development of Xianyou county. In Chapter 2, the paper with the 31 Faith ceremony music education field, practitioners and managers as a clue, explaining 31 Faith rituals to teach the implementation of the occasion, the perpetrators of the ceremony, the ceremony of managers in one year, as well as ritual music and its branches instrument heritage issues.The third chapter is fieldwork record.
