Research On High-Frequency Morphemes And Their Forming Compound Words In Modern Chinese

Modern Chinese Dictionary (2007's Edition) is a comprehensive dictionary that including basic words, commonly used words in modern Chinese.It playing the vital role in promoted standard Chinese, basically can represent the modem Chinese compound the appearance, has provided a very valuable material for the modern Chinese glossary research..The research takes a sample of compound words from Modern Chinese Dictionary (2007's Edition) as its research basis. Establish a modern Chinese morpheme database and make the corpus of statistical data and get 306 high-frequency morphemes. High-frequency morphemes are the morphemes that forming 60 or more compound words. We can call that 306 high-frequency morphemes and their forming compound word in Modem Chinese as an analysis approach.Analysis morpheme's meaning choice, combination of morpheme's parts of speech, grammatical structure type, the type of relationships between morpheme's meaning and their forming compound word's meaning and set up a high-frequency morpheme that forming compound words in modern Chinese database, make the corpus of statistical data, analysis and description the statistical data. Reveal grammatical structure, semantic feature and rules of high-frequency morphemes compound words in modern Chinese are the aim of this research. In order to thorough understanding of modern Chinese vocabulary, and for provide available materials for academic research. The research is divided in to eight chapters as follows:Chapter One:Introduction.The introduction addresses the perspective provides a reviewed of morpheme and compound words, briefly recalled viewpoints and achievements of lexicology and word formation research. In addition, content also includes the main abject of this research, research significance, materials selection, research methodology, the innovation of research theory and research path.Chapter Two: Research base.Determine research base, to research high-frequency compound words in modern Chinese should be pay attention in theirs internal structure, that is combining the syntax and semantics. Furthermore, adopted lexicology, word formation theory of mainly viewpoint that need to be explored to solve the problem. In additions introduced respectively high-frequency morpheme corpus and corpus of high-frequency morpheme compound words in modern Chinese.
