Family Tradition And Legal Regulations Of Early Mongolians

According to the history of social development, family is closely related to the human ancestory and has been develpoing as the time goes. By studying the issues related to family history from the aspect of the theoritical principles of family studies, and the history of social development we found out the structure of Mongolian family which has the dominant bloodline of father and blood relation is similar to the common typology. The main core of the family is a group of people like father, mother, children, son-in-law, daughter, and other relatives who have a blood relation and the morality to respect each other, and care for each other, and help each other has been developed as a method and a way of communication. Therefore fam-ily is the essential unit of society. Since the family communication is a historical phenomenon of society it has unstable characteristics and always develops customs or laws that are based on the regulations of the tradition. The necessity to study the family tradition and ethics of Mongolians gives us the opportunity to understand the traditional way of thinking about the regulations.The historical research works on Mongolian traditional laws and regulations don't often state the family laws and regulations in the historical documents. It means that the research hasn't been done as a complex. Therefore studying the regulations of family communication in historical documents is vital to understand the wedding rituals, traditional customs, way of thinking about regulations, and perception of Mongolians. It also helps us to improve the sig-nificance of legislation studies as well as family legislation studies.This research work consists of three chapters and ten subchapters. In the first chapter; In order to adjust to the main principles of family studies we tried to find out the characteris-tics in every period of the family development. We studied the characteristics of the marriage relation customs as the main object of our research.In the second chapter; Customs and rules of the family communication in the historical materials are the sample regulations that have the traditional characteristics. Therefore, the regulations of the family communication are the main issues of this research. The routine and habits that people had been practicing traditionally are the base of the customs.In the third chapter; based on the previous chapters and the historical materials about law and regulations we tried to find out the direct and indirect factors that influence the family communication, compare and conclude the common and different aspects of family regulations and clarify the issues related to the family communication.
