A series of practice since the establishment of People's Republic of China has proved that the ethnic policies made by the People's Republic of China conform to situation of china, which is the important political superiority to solve the ethnic problem. Since coming into 21 century, the society of china has change deeply, the market economy system of socialism has founded step by step. The ethnic policies of china, especial some specific policies, also need regulation and improvement to adapt to the needs of minorities and ethnic region in china. There are a lot of work to do in this aspect, to study the develop process of ethnic policies of the people's republic of china and summarize the successful and defective experience is the important one of all, also is a useful try. So, I choose the <> as task of my paper.The purpose of this paper is to understand and grasp the ethnic policies system accurately and clearly by studying comprehensively with the vision of a foreigner, and to sort out the content, the background, the principle, the characteristic and result, the theory and practice of ethnic policies. Based on this, from the angle ofimproving the ethnic policies system of china, according to the develop trend of china and the reality needs of minorities and ethnic region, this paper emphasized on analyzing and studying some important and difficult problem for use.This paper centered on the form and practice of ethnic policies system of People' Republic of China. This paper comprise of eight parts, including that the ethnic policies of People's Republic of China is a scientific system, the develop history of the ethnic, the main content and practice of ethnic policies, the historical experience of ethnic policies, the ethnic policies of People'sRepublic of China is a continual improvement process, and so on. After studying these problems, this paper come to a conclusion: the ethnic policies of People's Republic of China is successful, could solve the ethnic problem of china; but as a political resource which is changeable with time, the ethnic policies must continue to adjust and improve with the change of social structure and economic system.
