| The Study of Feudalism Remnants in Present Chinese SocietyAs a specialized program,it has been starting work since the Third Plenum of the 11th Party Central Committee studying existence of feudalism remnants in Chinese society. During the period of time of more than 20 years, especially since the collapse of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, Eastern society theory of Marx has been protruding reveal in Marxism research, some researchers studying the social and historical source of collapse of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe fix their sight on the feudalism remnants of Soviet pattern socialism, enlarging research field of vision, deepening the research for the feudalism remnants of our nation at the same time.As special historical phenomena of the elementary socialist with Chinese characteristics, the effects of feudalism remnants have stubbornness ,permeability and concealment, they exist in the economy, politics, culture and social psychology of the elementary socialist , so we have to analysis them carefully, distinguish them from others cautiously, and make a clear distinction with other negative factors. Eliminating the negative effects of the survivals of feudalism is a important task of socialist modernization which Xiaoping-Deng putting forward at the very beginning of China's adopting the policy of reform and opening-up. And now, all kinds of the feudalism remnants can do much more harm to our adopting the policy of reform and opening-up and modernization construction. Our struggling the survivals of feudalism with right policies and measure unremittingly is a magnificent event which not only conforms to the conditions of our country and the wishes of the people, but also relates to the safety of our country.This paper is totally divided into six parts, an introduction and five chapters. The introduction has mainly introduced the causes of selection of subject, practical meaning and the theoretical meaning of studying feudalism remnants, present situation of the study, research techniques for the subject, and structure and innovation of the paper. The first chapter " feudalism and Chinese feudalism " .the author derives the concept "feudalism remnants " from a macroscopic historical angle, denoting that the difference between ancient China's feudalism and feudalism is a distinction between government system and state system. The author has compared Chinese feudalism with that of Western, summing up the basic feature of Chinese feudalism, stressing the different quality of Chinese feudalism in the chapter. From the angle of development of Chinese modern history, evolution of Chinese feudalism from a kind of social form to remnants was also explained in the chapter.The second chapter " the appearance of feudalism remnants in Chinese society today". According to the author, there are three kinds of feudalism remnants: system form, idea form and social psychological form. The author enumerated expressions of feudalism remnants and their harm having been done to politics, economy, culture and social psychology of new China.The third chapter " reasons why feudalism remnants existed in present Chinese society ". With the analysis frame of Historical Materialism, social historical and knowledgeable sources of feudalism remnants in Chinese society were Discussed from social existence to social consciousness, productivity to production relation, superstructure to economic foundation.The 4th chapter "the experience and lessons of our struggling with feudalism remnants since foundation of PRC". With Marxism theory as guidance, the author summed up experience and lessons from opposing feudalism remnants under the leadership of the Party from those aspects: history and reality, theory and practice, subjective and objective, national and international, revolution, reform and construction.
