I have occupied in a Chinese construction corporate for more than 20 years, and have been in charge of overseas business since 1999. After China's entering WTO, the problem how to make the global developing strategy of Chinese construction industry in the future puzzled me all long.Since about 100 years ago the mainstream management has become the stage of management science. However, nowadays the management mode of enterprises in China mainly depends on experiences. This condition stands out in Chinese construction industry especially. Undoubtedly the present management mode can't match the demand for expanding abroad of Chinese construction enterprises. During my work, I realize that the lack of theoretical support from management is the key matter. After the Cold War, the subjects of the world have changed from revolution and war to peace and development. Everyone can notice the current of the integration, informatization and knowledge driving of economy. It's a time of strategic management. Although the tactics and efforts are also effective, whether an organization can succeed or not mainly rest on its strategy. Moreover, in an open society every strategy is born with the thought of internationalization. When the strategies of an organization accord with the developing current, it can survive. Whereas, its failure can not be avoided. Previously neither the scholars nor the entrepreneurs concern the strategy of internationalization in industrial dimension, for they all focus their interests on dimensions of nation or corporate.My colleagues and I have looked forward to research in this field for long time. Now I prepare to fulfill this work by myself. My work consists of two parts. In one hand, I analyze the situation of Chinese construction industry and global construction market in virtue of theorems of FDI, MNC and SM. These analysis centralize economic and technological factors. In the other hand, I feel that international business need inter-cultural management. Within Chinese enterprises theorems of oriental management is the most efficient. Therefore, I applied the oriental management to industrial strategy of internationalization and this research is the key innovation of my dissertation.This dissertation is an original discussion digesting industrial economics, developing strategy and oriental management. The problems I want to solve in this paper are as follow: can Chinese construction industry occupy the potential market and achieve a miracle development? What are the modes and channels for such a miracle development? Besides the factors of economy and technology, which role the culture can play in the industrial strategy of internationalization? What function the theory of oriental management can serve in the process of expanding abroad of Chinese construction industry?To solve the problems above, I firstly retrospect the classic theory of FDI and MNC. Secondly, I review the current condition of Chinese construction industry, locate its situation of international strategy and analyze its strategic circumstances. Finally, I make further research of strategic selecting, strategic operating and strategic extending. The thoughts of oriental management penetrate all over the papers. In the end, I put forward a systematic strategy of internalization for the miracle development of Chinese construction industry.
