Economic Benefits Of Globalization, Risk Theory

The topics of this thesis are the phenomena and laws of the development of the economic globalization and the benefits and the risks arising from the economic globalization. The objective is what countermeasures we should take against the benefits and the risks arising from the economic globalization, thus we can keep the economic continuously stable development with deeper reform and open-up in our country.The meaning of this study. Our country officially joined the WTO on December 11, 2001. Our country has come out with series of policies and measures to lower trade barriers and open the local market since then. This type of polices and measures will be drawn up and put into practice on a wider range and in a deeper degree from now on to bring China' s economy completely in line with world economic development and throw itself into the tide of the economic globalization on a full scale. However, the practice of long-term economic open-up of western developed countries shows that the economic globalization is a double-edged sword, which positively pushes the economic growth of a country, at the same time, also brings all kinds of risks affecting the normal development of the economy. After we joined the WTO, what risks may the economic globalization bring to our country's economy and what negative effects would it produce? This is the problem that we must be alert to. We should take steps to indicate and prevent the risks in advance rather than overcome them after the event. This asks us to study the problem hard and thoroughly. We should not only make it clear the risk-mechanism of the economic globalization theoretically, but also establish policy-related measures to prevent and inhibit the risks. The reason that the problems of the economic globalization becomes one of the hot spots in the current theoretical and practical fields in world countries,lies in the follow facts. On the one hand it brings about many new features to the contemporary economic growth, on the other hand it produces all kinds of opportunities and risks of development. If we study it, understand and master its regulations, we can make use of the push of this trend to facilitate the progress of economic development. Whereas, if we ignore it and aren' t familiar with it, we will be punished and threatened. It's worthwhile for us to benefit from the experiences and lessons of the other countries and areas in this respect. Only when we study carefully and induce the phenomena and laws of the economic globalization, can we provide the scientific bases of theories for the establishment of the economy and trade policies.This thesis not only study the regulations of the economic globalization itself and its influence to economy, what is the most important, it also study the steps we should take and put forward some concrete countermeasures in order to provide decision-making references for all levels governments to make corresponding economy and trade strategy and for keeping the economic continuously stable development in our country.The thesis includes 10 parts. The main points of the thesis are as follows:(1) Economic globalization can bring a country benefits as well as risk. The benefits exist only in the process of the economic globalization and can't take place and acquire automatically. This demands the nations to make the related policies to fight for the benefits. However, the risks of the economic globalization can take place automatically in an exoteric country and affect the economic normal development. It needs to take related measures to guard against the risks.(2) The possibility of the risks of the economic globalization taking place in our country. The reform and open policy of more than 20 years has made our countryhave a higher open outward degree. Joining the WTO will make our economy further exoteric.
