Japanese economic bubble burst in 1,990. Since then Japan is suffering from a long period of economic depression, but Toyota is keeping solid growth while other companies are struggling. Its total sales and profit rise continuously and it is the top company of Japan each year. All these achievements make the Toyota production way the focus of the domestic researchers' attention again in the whole country.Because of the transfer of the international manufacturing and the abundant cheap Chinese labor force, China is becoming the international manufacturing center during recent years. But Chinese manufacturing can't take part in the international competitions only depending on its low labor costs. If it wants to have powerful competitive predominance in a short time, it eagerly needs to engage Toyota production way, which represents the reforming direction of the international manufacturing, including its spirit, concept, ideas and methods. But now Chinese companies' circumstance and productive level are far from Japanese, American and European. How to introduce Toyota production way into such Chinese companies soon is just the main point that this paper discusses.At first, this paper puts an emphasis on the whole formative processes of Toyota production way.Especially, the paper breaks a new path in researching the formative processes of Toyota production way through the study of the relationship between the key character Taiichi ohno's promotion and the development of Toyota proution way. This fresh angle of view is an important creation. The practice of Toyota production way began from late 1940's or early 1950's by Taiichi ohno. Every innovation like the one-to-several manipulation, the standardized operation, the quick replacement or the adjustment of equipment's composition needs a long time effort.
