The Research About The Influence From The Amphitryon's Trade Environment To The Foreign Direct Investment

Under the new international economic condition, a great deal of changes have happened to FDI(foreign direct investment). With the world economic integration going on, either the free trade, the free investment, the regional economic integration, or the relations of bilateral agreements or multilateral agreements about trade and investment are all enhanced continuously. For these above, the quantity of FDI increased and the character and formation of FDI changed for a great deal. Therefor, the new relations of international cooperation present in the process of the adjustment to the production systems of the world. By the international stock and the localization of FDI, the relations between investors and the Amphitryons are strengthened. At the same time, in order to improve the abilities in the new international cooperation, the attraction to the FDI is becoming the important economic stratagem. When many countries contest impetuously for FDI, the functions of the favorable traditional policies about FDI are declining. The investors have the new demands in selecting location. They are that —under the new frame of FDI promotion, the Amphitryons must improve the whole economic diathesis to buildup the attraction and pertinence to FDI, including paying more attentions to the trade environment. With the changes of the relations between trade and investment, the new characters of the trade and investment under the new historical condition are that there are more complementarities and promotions to each other. The influence on FDI from the trade environment in the selecting location is becoming more and more obviously, and the adjustment or change of FDI is influenced by different kinds of trade environments. So, it is very important to improve the trade environment to reinforce the ability of attracting FDI and improve the quality of income FDI.The analysis about the influences from the whole trade environment and the main factor in this article are involved about two aspect, they are the theoretic and the demonstrational.In the first chapter, the conceptions of the trade environment and the FDI are given, and the trends about the changes of he trade environment and the FDI are analyzed. The concept of trade environment is given by concluding the relations between the trade and the investment described in the World Investment Report (WIR) of some years. The conception of the FDI is adopted from the WIR and the relative statements of the OECD. These two conceptions are the bases of the analysis of this article. And the statements of the trends about the changes of the trade environment and the FDI are ready for the next steps.In the second chapter, one of the main jobs is to abstract the main relative viewpoints and analysis from some theories about what affect the FDI, and the other is about the research ways. They are divided into two parts—the traditional and the contemporaneity, by the attitude to the relations about investment and trade during different times. These give me more helps in the theoretic consults. Themain introduction about analysis technologies concerns different aspects: the investors, the receivers; the difference of departments; the deposit and the variable of FDI. These can lend me references in setting up my own analysis model.In the third chapter, I analyze the influence from the trade environment to the FDI in two aspects—theory and demonstration. There are two parts about the theoretic analysis. One is the whole frame which gives the basic mechanism about how the trade environment affects the FDI. The other is the logic analysis about the influences to different motive FDI, which arise from the trade environment or the main factors of the trade environment.
