Issues Of Transnational Ethnics Group And International Relations

Affected by the world tide of ethnic nationalism, the issues concerned to transnational ethnics group have been becoming increasing hotter topics and have more influences on international relations. Nowadays most hot international issues are related to transnational ethnic group's issues. Tamil ethnic group problem is a typical example for interactions between transnational ethnics and interstates relations. Through analysis on the reasons and essential of emergence, development and aggravation of Sri Lanka Tamils' transnational ethnic disputes, the thesis finds out the reasons why India intervened with Sri Lanka Tamils' transnational ethnic disputes. At the same time, the thesis pays more attentions to the history of Sri Lanka Tamils' transnational ethnic disputes and influences on India-Sri Lanka relations. It's believed that transnational ethnics can be good chancels and the worsening cause for interstate relations; on the other hand, international relations have their special affects on transnational ethnics' disputes as well. The thesis argues that, the experiences for dealing with Sri Lanka Tamils' transnational ethnic disputes have referential meaning for China and other countries having transnational ethnic disputes, and peaceful settlement of transnational ethnics should be a norm for dealing with such problems.
