Standing on the viewpoint of political psychology, taking contemporary Chinese psychological mechanism of political identification as the starting-point and basis, proceeding with the research on the general theory of psychological mechanism of political identification, being instructed by Marxist Historical Materialism, human essence and harmonious society theory, referring to the knowledge and theories of Politics, Political Psychology, Sociology, Psychology and Socio-psychology, this dissertation analyzes the existing problems and causes of contemporary Chinese psychological mechanism of political identification and dominating elements of contemporary Chinese psychological mechanism of political identification, and puts forth the counter-measures and advices on perfecting and completing contemporary Chinese psychological mechanism of political identification. The dissertation includes six parts:Part One: introduction. Economic globalization causes the impact on state sovereignty notion, decentralization and feebleness of state power, trend of international political multi-polarization, western superpowers'westernization and differentiation, brings forward new challenge to the political identification problems in the development of the world politics. Contemporary China locates in the international environment of economic globalization, political multi-polarization, international political turbulence and structural readjustment as well as faces the connatural contradictions of political and economic modernism during the social transformation. The problem of political identification becomes more distinguished. This is not only the principal question of contemporary Chinese political reformation, but also a problem that must be solved within the reformation and development of Chinese politics. Therefore, it is necessary to take the research on the problems of contemporary Chinese psychological mechanism of political identification, to put forward the counter-measures to perfect and complete contemporary Chinese psychological mechanism of political identification.Part two: general theories of psychological mechanism of political identification.
