The Contemporary China's Marxism refers to the innovative theory system which come into being in the process of relating the Marxism with China's reality. It is a theoretic system, including some significant strategic thoughts, such as the Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thoughts of The Three Represents as well as the scientific development concept. It not only inherits and develops Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought, but also rich and perfec to them. It incarnates the maturity of our party's ideological and political theory. Looking from a historical perspective, although our party didn't propose the though of the popularization of Marxism explicitly before the 17th National Congress of the CPC, but our party in the Chinese revolution, construction and the reform process, China has been devoting to researching and popularizing the Marxism in the process of our party's revolution and construction and reformation.Promoting the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China, is a great project with strategic significance. That the 17th National Congress of the CPC put forward. focused on building a socialist core value system, adhere to Marxism's guiding position in the ideological field in China. And its smooth realization not only relates to what flag we hold and what path we take, but also relates to whether we can promote our ability to consolidate the party's ruling position, and raise the party's governing capacity. Therefore, it has great theoretical and practical significance to sum up and sort the thoughts on the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China.Especially during the late eighties and early nineties in last century, the Marxism was challenged seriously because of the drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. So it is becoming much more urgent and important to publicize and popularize Marxism in China.
