Research On Innovative Economic Circle

Economic circle is an important spatial form which can promote the national economic development. Innovation is the most crucial factor which can improve economic competitiveness and promote economic growth. The development of innovative economic circle is the development of innovation network within economic circle in which innovation mode can well make appropriate response to environmental change, and can re-allocate resources quickly and cheaply, which will internalize a variety of uncertainty, enhance the controllability of technological innovation process, and reduce the difficulty and risk of innovation. Existing research on economic circle mainly focused on the perspective of regional economics and positive economics, and there is no system research from the perspective of innovation economics. In the age of knowledge economy, innovation is the powerful driving force of economic development, so the research on innovative economic circle not only can drive the economic development model changing from traditional elements-drive to concentration drive with science and technology innovation, but also can promote the construction of innovative country and the transition of economic development model using innovative economic circle as the supporting point. As a result, the research on innovative economic circle has important theoretical and practical significance.On the basis of the frame and analysis tool of innovation economics, this dissertation defined the connotation of innovative economic circle, deeply studied its elements, and analyzed its location condition, innovation subject, innovation network and knowledge exchanging mechanism. The four aspects were synthesized to form the theoretical basis of innovative economic circle. Based on such studies, this paper put forward countermeasure and suggestions for promoting the construction and development of innovative economic circle in our country, through comparative analysis of economic circles at home and abroad and the empirical research on China's Bohai Bay economic circle. The main research content includes seven chapters. Chapter One is introduction, which introduces the research background and significance, research status at home and abroad of related theories, research ideas, research methods, the main innovation and contents needed further study of this dissertation Chapter Two studied the characteristic and structure of innovative economic circle. On the basis of clarifying the connotation of innovative economic circle, this dissertation analyzed their formation motivation, conditions, functions, and elements. Chapter Three researched the location of innovative economic circle. This chapter analyzed the innovation resource, innovation environment and their action mechanism in innovative economic circle. Chapter Four researched the innovation subject. This chapter respectively analyzed the main innovation subject'function and its associated mechanism with innovative economic circle, meanwhile, analyzed the impact of innovation subject on innovative economic circle from the perspective of organization innovation. Chapter Five analyzed the innovation network of innovation economic circle. Based on analysis of formation motivation, conditions and function mechanism of innovation network in innovative economic circle, this chapter constructed the innovative network'structure of innovative economic circle and studied the internal industry development of it. Chapter Six studied knowledge exchange mechanism of innovative economic circle. This chapter deeply researched the connotation and action mechanism of knowledge exchange mechanism. Based on such studies, this paper analyzed the relationship of knowledge exchange mechanism with knowledge creative in innovative economic circle, and the relationship of knowledge exchange mechanism with innovation network of innovative economic circle. Chapter Seven analyzed the innovative economic circle and its enlightenment in our country, international experience of. This paper analyzed successful experience of the New York metropolitan economic circle, the London metropolitan economic circle and the Tokyo Metropolitan Economic circle, and analyzed innovative feature of China's Bohai economic circle from the perspective of empirical research, then constructed the innovative economic circle of our country and put forward countermeasure and suggestionsInnovation of this dissertation includes:1. This dissertation defined the connotation of innovative economic circle, it believes that innovative economic circle has one or several high economic level cities as core, other cities as hinterland. Innovative economic circle is a combination of several near economic zone which tightly linked, influenced by the same or similar institution and culture, and has some industry development form or scale. This innovative combination requires that every innovation subject develop coordinated, construct innovation network in economic circle and promote technology innovation, organization innovation and social innovation base on knowledge exchange, so as to improve the soft and hard power of economic circle. This definition highlights innovation subject'knowledge coordination and interaction with the aim of innovation, enriches innovation theories, deepens the research on innovation network and promotes the development of Innovation Economics.2. This dissertation analyzed every innovation subject and their associate mechanism with innovative economic circle. This dissertation believes that, in innovative economic circle, related innovation subjects need not only well interact and coordinate in cities, but also associate among cities with the aim of innovation, using knowledge as the tie, which is the key to form the innovative network of innovative economic circle. This view highlights the coordinated development of zones in economic circle, and provides theoretical basis for construction of innovative economic circle.3. This paper believes that knowledge exchange mechanism is the fundamental behavior mechanism impenetrating in economic innovation network. Knowledge exchange mechanism is different from knowledge transfer and knowledge diffusion, it includes the generation and diffusion of new knowledge, and the generation and industrialization of innovation. Knowledge exchange mechanism through out the whole innovation process, in which the change of knowledge quantity is a nonlinear process, Its function and development promotes innovation, and push the formation and development of innovation network in innovative economic circle. Such viewpoint enriches present knowledge creation theory, pushes development of innovation theory, and provides theoretical basis for the formation and development of innovation network.
