Human society is welcoming the Network Economy era. The modern network and information technology represented by the Internet is changing people's lifestyle and the way of production, and thus impacting the politics, economy and culture of the entire world. But so far the Paradigm and theoretical system of network economics have not been established, the contents of relevant research are scattered and there are still lack of mature theories to explain the operation scheme of network economy. Therefore the deepen discussion and systemic study has important theoretical and practical significance. This paper has adopted the Theory of Information Space as basic theoretical tool to develop theoretical analysis and empirical study on the phenomena of network economy. This paper includes nine chapters, focusing on below aspects:1) Theory preparation: Defined the contents of network economics study. Analyzed the relationship between the network economics and traditional economics. Clarified the basic concepts of network economics. Laid the groundwork for the systemic study of network economics. (in chapter 1 and 2)2) Theoretical analysis: Provided comprehensive description of Boisot's Information Space Theory, and systematically analyzed Resource Scarcity, Marginal Utility, Marginal Benefit, Positive Feedback as well as Metcalf's Law, Moore's Law and Gilder's Law under the condition of network economy with this theory. Relative empirical study has also been done. (in chapter 3 and 4)3) Empirical study: By way of analysis each phase of the Social Learning Cycle (SLC) on SNS and the relationship between SNS and the two types of Learning (type N and type S), concluded that SNS would accelerate the run of SLC, would strengthen the market system eventually, and would lead flat trend of organization structure of enterprises.(in chapter 5)4) Model study: Analyzed the characteristics of digital economy activities. Proposed a framework for analyzing digital business model and compared different digital business models from three dimensions. Discussed various kinds of possible transaction methods among digital market participants, costs and benefits of each participant as well as different choices of service provided by agent platform. Especially analyzed the consequences of different competitive strategies. Found that the key factors to determine whether a kind of digital business model sustainable are the competition among different kinds of market participants and the competition between different participants of same kind. (in chapter 6)5) Application study: Provided comprehensive introduction of the origin, definition, technical structure, characters of XBRL and its current situation in China. Analyzed the limitations of the Accounting Information System (AIS) in operation. Introduced the idea and development of Events Accounting. Explained the technical and engineering feasibility of the Events Accounting process reengineering based on XBRL and proposed a implementation solution for it. Introduced the concept of Straight-through Processing (STP). Analyzed existing problems under traditional Tax Administration model in operation. Explained the technical and engineering feasibility of the STP process reengineering for tax declaration based on XBRL and proposed detail implementation method for it.6) Discipline trend study: Adopted Literature metrology to analyze the network economy related literatures published on the domestic core journals. Concluded the current situation and future trend of the network economics subject in China. Proposed suggestions for pushing forward network economics research in China.Major innovation:1) The Information Space Theory was creatively introduced as main theoretical tool and data was defined as a factor of production in this paper. Network Economy was analyzed from such point of view that data could substitute for energy, space as well as time and data could also be saved through learning process.2) Proposed a framework for analyzing digital business model, describing the digital business market as the core business of network economy through the relationship among producer (of digital products/services), assembler and consumer3) Proposed the application solution for implementing process reengineering in accounting and taxation fields based on XBRL, pointing out the technical and engineering feasibility provided by network economy.
