The Spatial Pattern Of Population And Regional Economic Development In Metropolitan Area

After 1990s , the globalization of economy is becoming more popular as a result of the informationization , globalization and network . In response to the globalization of economy , the regional economy is integrated , and the regional plates are formed , which is competitive core. NewYork Metropolitan Area , Tokyo Metropolitan Area , London Metropolitan Area and Paris Metropolitan Area are the representatives for developed countries . In China Metropolitan Areas such as Yangtse Delta , Zhujiang Delta and Capital Delta are typical . These areas are the main economy region and the main population region .Firstly , the principal theories on the spatial pattern of population and regional economy are analyzed , and the main points of metropolitan Area are discussed . Secondly , the development stages of the spatial pattern of population in Metropolitan Area are depicted , and the mechanism of the spatial pattern of population in Metropolitan Area is analyzed . On the base of main modes of spatial relation and spatial structures for population in Metropolitan Area in developed countries ,the common and different points are concluded .As international modes of Metropolitan Areas such as NewYork , Tokyo London and Paris , the development process of the spatial pattern of population is discussed . Thirdly , as a total thing , the relation between spatial pattern of population and regional economy is analyzed through spatial distribution , urbanization and migration of population . The relation between spatial distribution of population and industrial pattern , the structure of city system in Metropolitan Area, the relation between population urbanization and economy especially industrialization and so on are researched .In this text all the method of the qualitative and quantitative ,the macroscopic and microcosmic , the amount and structure ,the static and dynamic ,have been adoped in combining together .Author have carried on bold try and exploration to theoretical and positive issues .
