A Study On The Dynamic Enterprise Crisis Management System Based On Core Competence Theory

Based on the theory of core competence, Aimed to strengthen and re-shape enterprise core competence, this dissertation starts its research from enterprise crisis consciousness, and studies the means and strategies of preventing, answering and solving enterprise crisis through analyzing the reasons and processes of crisis emergence, and designs and establishes enterprise dynamic crisis management system. This system is a dynamic rotary system, which comprises four sub-systems: crisis identification sub-system, crisis early-warning sub-system, core competence re-shaping sub-system and crisis answering sub-system.This dissertation first summarizes the theories and research evolution of enterprise crisis management. Second, we present the concept and system frame of enterprise dynamic crisis management system based on the theory of core competence by combining core competence, discuss the type,characteristic,influencing factor,emergence root,forming mechanism and diffusion function of enterprise crisis, establish the definition frame of enterprise crisis based on which we classify enterprise into four conditions: developing,normal,recessive crisis and dominant crisis, establish crisis early-warning sub-system and core competence re-shaping sub-system separately using nerve-network and case-reasoning skill of artificial intelligence, and then illustrate these by examples. Last, we study and discuss how to deal with things after crisis.Specifically speaking, this dissertation mainly has following four innovations:(1) This dissertation presents the integral frame of enterprise dynamic crisis management system based on core competence. Enterprise crisis has been the research point in academic and business field; however, many researchers focused on managing crisis answering and establishing crisis early-warning mechanism without setting a complete and dynamic concept of enterprise crisis management system. The answering management after crisis and crisis early-warning system are indeed indispensable important parts of crisis management system, but not everything. After studying totally and systematically enterprise crisis management from the point of core competence in the height of strategy, this dissertation presents the enterprise dynamic crisis management system aiming to strengthen and re-shape enterprise core competence. We argue that crisis management is not only the crisis happening management, but also how to exploit and re-shape enterprise core competitiveness and maintain continuous development of competitive advantage in the basis of avoiding and eliminating potential crisis. We add enterprise crisis management to enterprise culture, which helps to realize the importance of enterprise crisis management from the point of overall strategy.(2) This dissertation classifies different types of enterprise crisis.
