Analysis On The Forming Mechanism Of Urban Tourism Spatial Structure

On the base of urban tourism spatial structure fundamental theories researches, this doctoral dissertation takes the Yangtze River Delta as a typical example, discusses the forming mechanism of urban tourism growth poles, central & peripheral urban tourism spatial structure, point-axis urban tourism spatial structure, urban tourism spatial agglomeration or cluster districts, and discusses the behavior of tourism enterprise spatial location selection and their spatial location selection behavior' effects on the forming of urban tourism spatial structure.This doctoral dissertation includes seven chapters.The first chapter, first, analyses on the subject background and foundation, the concepts of urban tourism spatial structure and urban tourism in the Yangtze River Delta; secondly, this chapter makes literatures summarizing on the forming mechanism of urban tourism spatial structure and urban tourism in the Yangtze River Delta; lastly, this chapter analyses on the development survey of urban tourism in the Yangtze River Delta; discuss on the significance, content system, technical channels and methods of this research.The second chapter, first, discusses the factors, types and features of urban tourism spatial structure; analyses on the spatial distribution configuration of urban tourism spatial structure in the Yangtze River Delta; secondly, this chapter analyses on the affecting factors of tourism enterprise spatial location selection from the point of tourism resources location factors, tourism markets location factors, tourism traffic location factors, tourism employees location factors, tourism cluster factors and other factors in social, economic, and cultural development; thirdly, this chapter expatiates on the fundamental theories of tourism enterprise spatial location selection from two aspects of expenses minimize and profits maximize; lastly, this chapter makes researches on industrial forming mechanism of urban tourism spatial structure in the Yangtze River Delta on the base of the view of tourism enterprise spatial location selection behaviors.The third chapter, first, analyses on the basic concepts, classifies of urban tourism growth poles and its effect on the circumjacent tourism regions; secondly, this chapter makes some researches on the similarities and differences between the cluster theory and the growth poles theory of urban tourism industry, and the affecting mechanism of urban tourism industry cluster on the forming of urban tourism growth poles; lastly, this chapter analyses the forming mechanism of urban tourism growth poles from the aspects of urban tourism resources and location conditions, urban tourism industry as the urban driving industry, sustainable urban tourism demand increasing, urban tourism development spatial difference and spatial polarization, urban tourism industry cluster development, regional economic and urban development, etc.The fourth chapter, first, analyses on the forming mechanism of urban central tourism spatial structure on the base of the construction of urban tourism industry land-using rent-biding model and the analysis of urban tourism industry cluster theory; secondly, this chapter analyses on the forming mechanism of urban tourism peripheral spatial structure from the aspects of the location effects and agglomeration & decentralization mechanism in the forming process of urban tourism peripheral districts, suburban trends of urban tourism enterprise spatial location selection, the increasing natural recreational demand of citizenship and tourist to urban peripheral tourism districts, etc, and analyses on the congruity development between the central tourism districts and the peripheral tourism districts; thirdly, this chapter constructs economic analysis model of the forming mechanism of metropolitan tourism central & peripheral spatial structure, and studies on the case of Shanghai tourism development practice; lastly, this chapter analyses the features of urban tourism central & peripheral spatial structure system in the Yangtze River Delta and its general evolvement trends and forming mechanism.The fifth chapter, first, discusses on the basic gist of tourism point-axis gradually decentralization theory, the important meaning of tourism point-axis development model using in region tourism development, and the fundamental concept of urban tourism development axes; secondly, this chapter analyses on the forming mechanism of tourism nodes system, tourism development transportation axes, and tourism development water axes, and discusses on the effecting mechanism of their formation on the forming of urban tourism point-axis spatial system; lastly, this chapter makes researches on the forming mechanism of urban tourism point-axis spatial configuration taking the Yangtze River Delta as an example.The sixth chapter, first, discusses on the concept, types, and characters of urban tourism spatial agglomeration districts; secondly, this chapter makes economics interpreting on forming mechanisms of urban recreational business space agglomeration districts (URBSAD) from the points of agglomeration & scale economies effects achieved by urban business recreational industries accumulating in URBSAD, etc; thirdly, this chapter analyses on the forming mechanisms from six aspects, such as the forming foundations of resources & regional location, large & medium Nature & Business Recreational items constructing, Nanjing Hexi new city constructing, urban tourism development, urban social & economic development, and the leisure demands of urban Nature & Business Recreational consumers; lastly, this chapter analyses on the forming mechanism of urban tourism spatial agglomerations from the aspects of common natural & humanity conditions, developed urban & tourism economy, tourism economy globalization, tourism traffic channels, urban tourism spatial mutual effects, etc.The seventh chapter relates to research conclusions, innovation theories, existing key problems, and prospects of this doctoral dissertation.
