Research On Interrelation Mechanism Of Human Capital Evolution

Based on the theory review of human capital and urban agglomeration, and in the context of urban development and agglomeration, the historical evolution path of human capital was probed into under the influence of the primary factors such as industrial agglomeration, knowledge development and institutional transition by means of dynamic history research and contrast analysis method.Accordingly, the three important correlative factors of industrial agglomeration, knowledge agglomeration, and institution, which are essential to the human capital evolution, were extracted from the historical evolution track. Furthermore, it is researched into the intercorrelation mechanism of mutual affect between the three macro-factors and human capital evolution respectively.The effect and influence of factors on human capital was analyzed during the process of human capital flow between industries and regions by the core-periphery model of introducing human capital variable. In addition, the result of model derivation and numerical simulation manifested that, first, the region with human capital of higher level is provided with greater capability of attracting human capital. Second, with more human capital stock, it is helpful for promoting industrial agglomeration and human capital level. Third, the human capital level and stock will increase when the human capital investment is inclined to increase, which plays the exemplary role. Last, with the transaction cost between regions decreases, the human capital flow increases, contributes to the economic elements flow of inter-regions, and hereby facilitates industrial agglomeration and human capital cluster.The three representative urban agglomeration region of China as the empirical research object, the human capital level of which was measured. Moreover, the regression analysis of China and the three urban agglomeration regions was performed to study the relationship of physical capital, human capital, and economic growth. Finally, the Data Envelopment Analysis of human capital was carried out to analyze the input-output efficiency of human capital.The main innovation points as follows:Firstly, in the context of urban agglomeration, the historical evolution path of human capital was probed into with the change of factors such as industrial development and agglomeration, knowledge development and institutional transition by means of dynamic history research and contrast analysis method. Secondly, the three essential correlative factors of industrial agglomeration, knowledge agglomeration, and institution, which are important to the human capital evolution, were generalized. In addition, it is researched into the intercorrelation mechanism of mutual affect between the three macro-factors and human capital evolution respectively.Thirdly, by the core-periphery model of introducing human capital variable, the effect and influence of each factor on human capital was analyzed during the process of human capital flow between industries and regions.
