Research On The Mechanism Of Informatization On The Development Of Economy

In today's world, with frequent and continual innovation in information technology, information industry has developed rapidly; informatization has become the general trend of world development. The level of informatization development has become an important indicator in measure of the ability of international competitiveness, the degree of modernization, overall national strength and the ability of economic growth of countries and regions. Informatization is not only a revolution in industrial technology, but also a profound economic and social change. Therefore, it has the important meaning to explore the impacts and effects of informatization on the development of economy.The paper analyzed the connotation and economic characteristics of informatization. In discussing the economic development goals promoted by informatizstion, the mechanisms model of informatization to promote economic development has been proposed for in-depth exploration on the economic development mechanism promoted by information technology. On base of empirical analysis on informatization development in Tianjin, some ideas and measures has been put forward on informatization for economic development in Tianjin. This dissertation consists of six chapters; the main research works in each chapter are stated as follows:In chapter one, the development and research statues on informatization and economy problem is surveyed. The main research works and innovations in this paper are stated.In chapter two, the paper explains the connotation and economic characteristics of informatization, analysis the status and trends of informatization development in China and the world, and states the objective of economic development in condition of informatization. Based on the systems analysis methods, it has been proposed on the mechanisms model of informatization on the development of economy in aspects of endogenous mechanism, driving mechanism, environmental mechanism.In chapter three, the paper proposed the endogenous mechanism of economic development promoted by informatization. The elementary theory of economic growth has been analyzed, at the same time the informatization level measure theory and the indicator system has been researched. It has been theoretically proved that the informatization takes an endogenous factor to promote the economic development. In chapter four, the paper proposed the driving mechanism of economic development promoted by informatization. The paper states that information industry has lead the economic development, the informatization has drive the traditional industry development, the informatization has promoted service industry development, the e-government has provided the service vigorously for the economic development.In chapter five, the paper proposed the enviromental mechanism of economic development promoted by informatization. The informatization has become a means of promoting economic development on condition of giving full play to the supporting function of information infrastructure, the security function of informatization policies and regulations, the orienting function of informatization organization and agency.In chapter six, in summary of present situation, the experience and the insufficient foundation of informatization development in Tianjin, the paper proposed some suggestions and measures of economic development supported by informatization in Tianjin.Some beneficial conclusions have been drawn and some considerations for future work are discussed in the end of this paper.
