Research On The Mechanism And Performance Of Informatization To Promote Regional Economic Growth

With the development of the global informatization process,the industrialized economy dominated by material resources has gradually turned to an informationized economy centered on information resources,which has brought profound impacts on economic development and social progress.Around the world,countries have taken measures to accelerate the pace of informatization and promote sustained and healthy economic growth.In our country,General Secretary Xi Jinping also stressed that"informatization has brought a rare opportunity for the Chinese nation.We must be keen to seize the historical opportunity of information development."China is in a critical period of industrial restructuring and economic transformation and upgrading.The development of informatization can promote the transformation of economic growth from resource consumption to knowledge,technology and innovation,and is an important driving force for economic stability,health and sustainable development.It can be seen that exploring the relationship between informatization and economic growth has important practical significance.In view of this,this paper focuses on the impact of informatization on regional economic growth,and explores the path and contribution of informatization to promote economic growth.First of all,based on the literature review and theoretical research,this paper takes structural non-equilibrium economic growth theory,neoclassical economic growth theory and information economic theory as the analytical framework to explore the mechanism of informationization to promote economic growth.Research shows that the development of information sector promotes industrial restructuring and provides impetus for economic growth:information industrialization,application of information technology to promote the development of information industry;industrial informationization,information penetration effect highlights the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.The information sector has become a source of economic growth through knowledge accumulation and endogenous technological advancement:the information industry has increased knowledge accumulation and promoted technological progress;the external effects of information technology have been significant,driving economic development.Secondly,the index evaluation system suitable for China's economic development is constructed.The principal component analysis method is used to calculate the scores of China's 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities'informatization development index from 2007 to 2017,focusing on the overall situation of China's informatization development,and from the regional and The information element level analyzes the characteristics of China's information development.Then,through the Cobb-Douglas production function including informatization,the panel data of the three regions of the country and the East,West and West are analyzed empirically,and on this basis,two time periods are divided into regression analysis to further explore the information.The relationship between economic development and economic growth.The research results show that:(1)China's economic growth and informatization development in various regions show a strong regional imbalance.The provinces and cities with higher level of informatization development are basically developed coastal economic areas.The informationization degree of most provinces and cities in the central and western regions is lower than the national average level,which corresponds to the imbalance of China's economic growth.(2)The informationization activities of various provinces and cities in China have become an important source of regional economic growth,but compared with capital and labor factors,whether at the national level or the three regional levels of East,West and West,China's economic growth is still at this stage.Rely on a large amount of material resources.(3)The contribution of information element input to economic growth is different from the traditional capital factor input and labor factor input,which has a positive impact on the regional economic growth,especially the economic growth of backward areas.It can be seen that informationization coordinates regional economic development and gradually narrows the economic gap in backward areas.
