It has experienced dozens of years since igneous rock reservoirs found up,many foreign countries had been discovered igneous rock reservoirs, our countryhas also been found in igneous rock reservoirs, which contains high store,high-yield igneous rock reservoirs. The relationship between the rock and theelectric property of igneous reservoir is more complicated because of complexlithology and varied diversity of structure of igneous rock reservoir, bring greatdifficulty in exploration and development. Igneous rock reservoirs have strongheterogeneity characteristics by distribution of discontinuous rock mass, complexlithologic and various of stratigraphic sequence and so on, it is urgently needs tosolve the problem brought about by the series of characteristics of igneous rockreservoirs for persons who engaged in the exploration and development ofpetroleum.How to study and accurately grasp the igneous rock reservoircharacteristics and igneous rock reservoir heterogeneity, has the importantpractical significance and long-term significance to the igneous rock reservoirsexploration, development and exploitation, which will be a mportant topic for along time in the future. How to study and accurately grasp the igneous rockreservoir characteristics and igneous rock reservoir heterogeneity, has theimportant practical significance and long-term significance to the igneous rockreservoirs exploration, development and exploitation, which will be a mportanttopic for a long time in the future.Because of the igneous rock reservoirs can obtain high yield reserves, so lotsof oilfield which merges it into the key exploration area,but as the result of thestrong heterogeneity of igneous rock reservoirs, it is difficult to having a clearunderstanding on hydrocarbon accumulation and distribution of lithologic trap,much difficult to the exploration and development of reservoir. Although manyresearchers have done a lot of work of characteristics of hydrocarbonaccumulation and reservoir heterogeneity of igneous rock reservoir,but so far,theresearch on characteristics and heterogeneity of igneous rock reservoir is not enough.This article in view of the eastern sag of liaohe basin, conception in thedescription of the igneous rock reservoir characteristics and the depict of igneousrock reservoir heterogeneity, studys in aspects of the main as following:Characteristic of stratigraphical sequence in the eastern sag of liaohe basin:stratigraphy from bottom to top are Archeozoic, Proterozoic, Paleozoic,Mesozoic, Palaeogene Fangshenpao Fm, Shahejie Fm, Dongying Fm, NeogeneGuantao Fm, Minghuazhen Fm and Quaternary period.Characteristic of lithology in the eastern sag of liaohe basin: The igneousrocks of the eastern depression of liaohe basin has drill in drilling are more than470. According to the eastern depression of liaohe basin volcanic rock typedistribution, rock type volume frequency statistics and the practical need ofvolcanic rock reservoir’s studying, comprehensive consideration of volcanic rockdiagenesis, genetic structure, chemical composition, mineral composition,characteristics of the structure, pyroclastic graded and proportion, identify20kinds of volcanic rocks in the eastern sag of liaohe basin: tephrite/basanite, basalt,trachybasalt, basaltic andesite, basaltic trachyandesite, andesite, trachyandensite,trachyte, rhyolite, pumice, basaltic clastic lava, andesitic clastic lava, trachyticclastic lava, cryptoexplosive breccia, basaltic clastic rock, trachytic clastic rock,diabase, trachy porphyry, gabbro, diorite.Characteristic of volcanic cycles and stages in the eastern sag of liaohe basin:Through the study of active stage division and development characteristics by300wells in the eastern sag, the cenozoic volcanic rocks of the eastern sag candivide into15stages and4cycles. The same cycle has periodic changes, thedifferent cycles also have differencese.Characteristic of reservoir space in the eastern sag of liaohe basin: basicigneous rocks are the main rocks in this area, developmence of primary reservoirspace types are porosity, phenocryst blasting crack, intracrystalline porosity,gravel pore, spalled crack etc.; secondary porosity are phenocryst dissolutionporosity, matrix dissolution porosity, amygdala dissolution porosity,tectonic crack etc. Porosity fillings have zeolite, soapstone, calcite, chlorite,siliceous, etc.Characteristic of reservoir controlling factors in the eastern sag of liaohebasin: there are3class igneous rock reservoir which are trachyte, basalt and diabase in the eastern sag of liaohe basin, the main6factors which controllingthe igneous rock reservoir on the whole are: fracture, volcanic edifice and itsfacies zoning, volcanic cycles and stages, interface, volcanic facies, volcanic rocklithology.Characteristic of reservoir space in the eastern sag of liaohe basin: calculatethe conventional logging parameter(AC, CNL, DEN, GR) of fractal dimension byusing fractal box dimension, which can quantitative characterize the porosity,densiy, fluid, shale distribution and other reservoir heterogeneity parameters,achieve the goal of studying igneous rock reservoir heterogeneity. Application offractal box dimension perm as the main characterization parameters, combiningporosity, study the igneous rock reservoir heterogeneity in the eastern sag ofliaohe basin.One of the obvious features of the studied area is the reservoir’shomogeneity. The fractal kriging theory was used to deal with the problem. Theplot in plane view of each thin layer’s porosity, perm, these studies know thedistribution of reservoir space for reservoir parameters and reservoir connectivityof each group effectively, providing a reliable basis for further development.
