In this paper, main core sample from the Upper Paleozonic in Huanghua Depression is collected and analyzed with coal vitrinite reflectance. Laser confocal microscopy. The result shows low organic maturity in Beidagang Buried-hill, Kongdian Buried-hill, Xuhei Buried-hill, liptinite content is higher than Qikou depression and Nanpi depression. Microscopic Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance is applied to study coal Maceral and hydrocarbon characteristics, which shows high absorption peak of saturated hydrocarbons in liptinite and vitrinite heterocyclic compounds, carbon oil potential of coal increased with maturity decreased. Other experiments like laser pyrolysis gas chromatography, rock pyrolysis, add water thermal Simulation also shows high hydrocarbon bearing potential in Kongdian Buried-hill and Xuhei bump, the research area is divided into six tectonic belts, Beidagang Buried-hill, Qikou depression, Banqiao depression, Nanpi depression, Xuhei bump and Kongxi Buried-hill. In these tectonic belts coal source rocks of Carboniferous-Permian is studied with organic matter abundance, type and maturity. Beidagang Buried-hill, Xunlei bump and Kongxi Buried-hill is established to be good potential tectonic belt.
