Most of petroliferous basins in China have high exploration conditions for oil and gas areas with good geological conditions,and the reserve resources are insufficient.The oil and gas exploration and development of the Permo Carboniferous coal measure strata have achieved remarkable results in many basins.The deep resources of the Huanghua Depression have great potential,and the source rock is the material basis of oil and gas enrichment.The Permo Carboniferous source rocks in the Huanghua Depression mainly include dark mudstone,carbonaceous mudstone and coal,and the formation include Benxi,Taiyuan,Shanxi,Shangshihezi,Xiashihezi and Shiqianfeng.Shanxi group,Taiyuan group coal and dark mudstone have large deposition thickness and high organic matter abundance,which are the main hydrocarbon generation levels;due to the small thickness and limited distribution of Benxi formation,hydrocarbon generation is less.In this study,the core samples were analyzed by the whole rock microstructure,kerogens microscopy,organic carbon determination,rock pyrolysis experiments,vitrinite reflectance,and combined with the previous analysis of the data,selecting the evaluation standard of hydrocarbon source rock organic matter abundance,type and maturity.The dark mudstone is medium to good source rocks,carbonaceous mudstone is poor source rocks,and coal is poor-non source rocks.The type of organic matter is mainly ?2-? and the maturity value of organic matter is mostly 0.7%~1.3%,the evolutionary stage is mature.According to the distribution of source rock,organic matter abundance,type and maturity comprehensive evaluation,Kongxi burial hil,Xuhei burial hill,Nanpi depression and Qikou depression are relatively favorable oil and gas areas.In this paper,the oil and gas resources are calculated by thermal simulated hydrocarbon generation method,and the resource amount of Huanghua Depression is 2.1×10~8t~2.99×10~8t.
