This dissertation is based on the laboratory research on carbonylation to synthesize acetic anhydride and acetic acid, we designed and build pilot plant of carbonylation to synthesize acetic anhydride and acetic acid. At the same time, The self-developed catalyst preparation plan is utilized to obtain rhodium iodide homogeneous catalyst. Through the model operation of the pilot plant, the equipments and process parameters can be confirmed. The main research results are under below:1. Using high purity compound as solvents, the high purity rhodium solution can be obtained. The optimal rate of solvents and the solution conditions are confirmed through experiments, this is for industrial dissolve kilograms rhodium provide technical support. The rhodium source and solution source are detected by ICP-AES and the purity of the two is high. This is the basement for industrial application.2. Based on the high purity rhodium solution, we developed the preparation process of rhodium iodide. After technical and economical analysis on iodine source, potassium iodide is an optimal iodine source for industrial production. This process is simple and easy to operate, investment and production cost is low, it is good for application.3. Through catalyst characterisation of XPS, XRD, FTIR, SEM, LPS and ICP-AES, the characterization of rhodium iodie is acquired. According to the characterization results, the rhodium iodide is high purity and good stability, the process and operate parameters for rhodium iodide is optimized, the process will be established in the future work.4. The 950 g/h acetic anhydride and acetic acid products pilot plant is manufactured based on laboratory research. The specification and material of main equiments such as reactor, distillation colunm, flash drum, apparatus, pipe, vavle, pump and tank is confirmed. The operation manual is worked out and gain experience for industrial construction and operation. Through laboratory contrast experiment and pilot plant operating, the catalytic properties of rhodium iodide is investigated. 5. In this dissertation, the catalyst system of carbonylation to synthesize acetic anhydride and acetic acid is discussed systematically, the catalyst source and the effects of catalyst stability factors are mainly mentioned. Also, the process reaction mechanism and principle of catalyst deactivation mechanism are related and analyzed. Summarize the principle of operation to keep catalyst on high activity.6. At last, green cyclic process of coal based the intensive processing of methanol was introduced in this paper, which met the needs of continuable development, and made the Shaanxi coal resource towards the way to green cyclic development.
